Anyone went through surgery?

Age 6 I had my chin repaired because my cousin stepped on my head when I was lying down on jagged concrete for some reason. Blood poured out lie a waterfall. I remembered seeing the meat, bone fragments, and crushed veins hang down like a gizzard of a turkey.

Anyway they did the surgery when I was awake and I felt like 10 needles poked into it and remembered yelling like crazy. I almost tore my vocal that day. Finally the stiches came out and I was pretty much out of it at this point but once that needle entered what was left of my chin skin I was up again.

Not surgery but was admitted in hospital for asthma attack when I was 5.
6 and 7 busted my head open 3 times.
Age 13: broke my arm
Age 17: broke ankle and got a nice metal plate and 8 screws in my ankle.
Age 19: broken nose and got to have minor surgery and some cocaine up my nose lol.

How did that happen?

Most local anesthetics are coca based. Novocaine/lidocaine/procaine

Where was that in my prescription? All I got was oxycodone, and a blunt.

Other than getting circumcised at birth (or extremely young) and getting wisdom teeth removed early (put to sleep) can't say I've had surgery before.

Having to keep those swabs of cotton in my mouth was a bitch though. same with accidentally pulling out stitches too early.

They had to numb my nose so that is why I got some medical cocaine. Now it was medical of course, but if you notice most times when you see on tv or something them checking what the drug is the dab their finger and then rub it around their gums. If it is cocaine it numbs it. Feel free to try if you find yourself a line lol. jk

Fun fact. If you boil down 100 cc of lidocaine and snort the powder.. YOU...WILL... not get high since there no psychoactive properties in lidocaine. You just overdose and die numb.

I was in for a broken ankle I received in gym class a couple years ago. This was my very first time being a patient at a hospital. Surgery was needed of course. I had to go 10 hours without eating or drinking. The eating part I didn't mind but the no drinking part made the 10 hours a bitch to go through. When it was time for surgery, nothing special really happened. I was put to sleep and woke back up shortly after. It went by so fast for me but to everyone else the surgery lasted for about 4 hours. After the surgery I was still in the hospital for about a week (which to this day was the most boring week I've ever had).

I got my appendix out when i was 15, but i was in a lot of pain of the way there, and higher than hell when i got there, so i only remember the doctor asking if i could fell anything, than passed out. Asidefrom that, im getting surgery again this summer on my jaw, to fix my awful cross bite.

open heart surgery when I was 14 to fill up a hole in my septum (congenital heart defect)

I can't believe they gave me cherry flavored anesthesia out of all the other flavors they had...

Lol you are lucky that at least it was cherry flavored (tho i know how nasty it is). On my last surgery, when i got my wisdom teeth pulled, i was given ass flavored anesthesia.

Age 6: Knee surgery with a metal replacement from a stupid accident I caused with a car. It was my first day off training wheels too. They had to replace it with a larger knee plate every few years until I was 15. Been hit by cars about 3-4 times a year whenever I rode regularly, but gotten off with minor injuries (fucking lucky) since that time. Mostly because I kept running stops signs and red lights (to be rebellious). Eventually I grew out of that stupidity and started following road laws. Haven't been hit since.

Good for you sir! I'm pretty fond of bikes myself, but I was never pronged to injuries like that even though the amount of cars I've cut off.(Ya, we lucky bastards hah!)
