I know for me personally I've just always like erotic/ecchi based things so it was sort of a natural progression for me. In the end I personally found to love porn (well mostly hentai, never been a fan of irl/3D porn; too cheesy and whatnot) because it turns me on and I love anime/manga.

I think everyone starts somewhere with their love of erotic content, but for women it just depends. Most women would rather read smut/erotic novels/fan-fiction. I know I read those slightly before I started getting into hentai, but I'm such a Japanese art fan that hentai was more up my alley. Internet itself: It should be around 1.10. Around two thirds of the difference are produced because more males are born than females by mere nature: being 1.066 the rate.
