I thought that the owners might be reluctant to sign the players we need if we won the title, yeah. But I think we've been so unconvincing this season that they absolutely have to spend the title winner's money on a few players. *fingers crossed*

After that shocking display last night, we need new signing in the summer. The academy is bringing in some great players, but seeing as they've all got glass bones we need diversity in the squad.

Unbelievable game. I was in the pub with my Barca supporting friend and loved every minute. John Terry being a cunt, Ramires scoring a goal Messi would have been proud of, the almost inevitable penalty miss and the glorious Redemption of Torres. Fantastic stuff, even if I don't much like Chelsea.
Four players out for the final though. That's a game lost before time.

My conspiracy theory: Either Bayern Munich or Chelsea will win the Champions League this season.
In b4 Captain Obvious... but here are my reasons for saying so:
1) London is holding the Olympics this year, which is a far greater event than the Champions League. Remember 2004? Greece was hosting the Olympics and they won the European competition. Either that or England will win the European championship this year.
2) If I did not remember wrongly, the final of the Champions League is being held at the Allianz Arena, the home of Bayern Munich, which technically gives them home ground advantage.
In any case, I am just speculating. Don't take my words seriously. :D

that's a big factor of lucky I guess..
but Barca should play with more speed, just look at how chelsea put 8-9 players in the back..
anyways my prediction goes to Munich

OT: I'm going with Munich on this one simply because of one thing (not really): HOME ADVANTAGE. Bayern Munich are going into a final with a pitch they are VERY familiar with.
Plus I'm a Gunner, so I'd rather watch Chelsea lose...

City or MU. This is so exiting. Also, Bilbao for Euro.
Although I don't want United to win, I also don't want that cunt Nasri to win anything either.
Is it Bilbao and Levante fighting for a place in Europe?

Liverpool were cheated!! Inconceivable! Time wasting! *Curse Curse*
/Rage
In other news, prem is getting exciting now with this 'to the last game' thing going on.

If Blackburn beat Wigan on monday, then on come may 13th every single match bar one will have a mathematical bearing on the title, the champions league qualification and/or the last two relegation spots.
Swansea/Liverpool the only dead rubber game, although Norwich/AV is effectively one too unless Bolton win by 17 or more, lol.
Exciting times indeed.

Arsenal are fucking lucky Tottenham dropped points and that Newcastle lost.
Not sure who's going to take the league this time, or who could relegated. I'm hoping Bolton pull through and get out of there.
