At what age were you introduced to anime?

First anime I ever watched was Dragon Ball Z and I was about 6. Have loved anime ever since.

Been watching anime since I was 3. Gotta love them old 90's anime shows.

I was like 4,I use to watch animes like Yu yu hakusho, Pokemon and DBZ

I was introduced to anime with 'Star Blazers' [the americanized version of Space Battleship Yamato] in 1979. Eventually i found out about the original SBY and the differences between them.

And today, I hope to see more of the SBY 2199 show; Xebec has been kicking ass with it so far.

For me it was around 7 i was the official pokemaniac at my elementary school.

Actually, I was around 4... Dragon Ball Z, Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon, City Hunter were my first with Hokuto no Ken and Cat's Eyes... Great time looking a those!!

the show that got me into anime was the Gundam Series on Toonami. sense then i have branched out to other anime's as well but i still fall back on Gundam as my all time fav.

Dragon ball is what got me into anime wherehas Kenshin is what made me look more into manga.

Don't remember what I was five so 6-10 it is.

Likely first watch, Voltron and/or G-Force. First I can remember clearly watching, Sailor Moon (close second Dragon Ball). First tape owned, Fatal Fury the movie. First knowing there was a difference between anime and American cartoons, Gundam Wing (funnily enough a recap episode). First notice of terrible American censoring, Tenchi Muyo on Cartoon Network. First DVD own thus first time watching with subs, Slayers: The Movie/Perfect.

First hentai, Dragon Pink. First Hentai manga, Hot Tails #1. First hentai bought, Hex Files (Magical Twilight)... Yea, think that covers all my bases.

I'd say around 6. I remember my 1st anime was Ayashi no Ceres. I only saw like the 1st few episodes. The only thing I remembered was the incredible piano of the opening. I didn't know the title then. I really got into anime during my secondary years. That's around.... 13 years old. It was Groove Adventure Rave that got me truly into anime. I did watch a bit more before that. I remember Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblade and Yugioh, oh and Dragonball as well.

After I started watching more anime, I found out the name of the 1st anime I watched when I was browsing around. Went and download the opening sound right away~~

First anime title for me was Astro boy, (the one from 1963) my grandpa used to have it one VHS and I'd watch it every time I'd go to visit him, ah nostalgia.

I remember watching Robotech for the first time back when the Seeds of Toonami were planted at around six year old.
Then I began watching Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, and Gundam Wing. Soon enough I got hooked as the years flow, I watch more Anime, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Beebop and my appreciation to Anime increased.

age 10 Pokemon first began to air in Sweden followed by Yugi Yoh! aaaannnddd I was stuck :D

I put 16-20 because it was then that I made the distinction between "anime" and "cartoon", and went searching for them myself
