The first anime I ever "saw" was Vampire Hunter D, one of Dad's favorite blocks was the Sci-Fi Saturday night anime block, but the anime that really brought me into anime fandom, was Tenchi Muyo, sure I saw DBZ, and Sailormoon, but that's the one that really started it all.

Age 11 to be exact.
It was Pokemon, closely followed by Digimon.
Though I still feel my first proper anime was Tokyo Mew Mew when I was either 13 or 14 when it aired on Pop.

As long as I can remember one of my first animes were Anpanman and GTO. My parents often got videos sent by friends from Japan. :D

I was first introduced to anime thanks to Toonami. That said for a long time the only anime I liked was Dragon Ball(Z). When Adult Swim aired Cowboy Bebop I would watch that too. For a long time I said I didn't like anime at all.
Then around 2007 I started to get into the Internet and found out that anime meant more than I thought it did. It started with a few shows; Outlaw Star, Aria, Claymore, and probably most importantly Baccano. From there I started liking it and developing my own unique preferences. So I was first introduced at age 6 or so but it was 10 years later when I was awakened and learned to enjoy it.

Pokemon. Things like DoReMi and Kirby were on Saturday mornings. Ahh, 4kids, how could you. And Toonami is back, that made me happy. Good thing I'm pretty much nocturnal.

I was first introduced when I was about five. They used to air Sailor Moon in the morning before school.
I didn't get seriously into it until I caught wind of Adult Swim when I was 12.

March 6, 2009! I watched a bit of dragonball as a kid. But three years ago,the night before a friends birthday, I came home to my room-mates watching it and I couldn't stop. After that, I watched the entire series and picked up new stuff on the way. I refer to March 6 as my anime-iversary. (corny, i know)

I was about 8 I believe, so '97, when I first saw NausicaƤ. The first actual series' I watched were Pokemon, DBZ, and Sailor Moon at about the same time. Man, where does the time go?
