Sailor Moon and Dragonball played on television for me as a kid in the early 90's. Then, Pokemon played on the local Japanese channel back when it was hot (maybe '96-'97 ish?)

For me I was knowingly introduced at about 12 maybe with Martian Successor Nadesico. Actually introduced with either Poke'mon, Sailor Moon, or Dragonball. What age? I'm not sure.

i guess it would be pokemon and then dragonballl, sailormoon then the older viewing one was inuyasha that draw me more into it cuz of toonami

speed racer, but back then i didnt know the difference between anime and non anime. :p it was all just cartoons to me.

I happened to get aglimpse of Sailor Moon. I thought it was weird, but screw it, Sailor Moon was hot. Then, I got into Ghost in the Shell. Now, give me credit here. It has a good story. I'm not just here for the multiple scenes of nudity. Okay, I totally was. Then to Bleach, then I discovered here.

my first anime was vandread. thats when it was still on the air to. im 19 now but i think i was 8 when i saw it. but i never got into anime until i was about 16.

To be honest I can't remember the exact year, but I know it was the old Robotech at first(anf by old I mean before CN ever existed). My first series purchased was Evangelion though and that was in like the late '90s.
