Growing up i watched dbz and pokemon but i considered them cartoons and it wasnt until i was in highschool that i even knew they were from japan and called anime.

My older sister was the one who influenced me into watching anime, she will describe some anime's, as the most awesome thing in the world. I was a curios kid when I was younger, so I wanted to see this awesome anime's my sister would tell me about. F.M.A got me a little into anime, but what actually hooked me on it, was Naruto and Bleach.

I was first introduced to anime at the age of seven, and my very first anime was the Sailor Moon series! After that it was Gundam and Dragon Ball, then I just transformed into a full-blown otaku ;p

I visited my grandparents when I was 11, and they had cable (unlike at my house). One of those Naruto movies with the crappy English dub was playing on Cartoon Network, and I thought that Kakashi Hatake was awesome and kind of hot. Thank you, Kakashi-sensei!

Watching dragonball at the age of 5? hahahaha that's sick, i used to play in the sandbox when i was that age.. i started to dig anime when i became old enough to completely understand english, which was at the age of 12 or something.
Dragonball, Mushrambo, Moncole Knights, Samurai pizza cats, and Flint the time detective.
Those shows got me into anime. :D

My first animes were Pokemon and Card captor Sakura (I was about 4-5 back then) but didn't know they were anime, just that they were "cartoons with story line" <.<;
