i really got into anime when i was 14 or 15. i sometimes watched some animes on the TV but i was 14 when i began to buy manga

dunno, guess i always knew it. i mean with Jump on the shelves of every convenient store and on TV and stuff, it's hard to miss. i just never got into it, was more like a casual anime fan who watches a few hours a day since I was a kid. only really gotten into anime once I hit high school and was in US, then searching for childhood shows like Slayers and One Piece and Taa-chan made me rewatch it again from the start and then became an otaku and started following new shows every season in college. afterwards i guess i just fallen completely in otaku-dom when my social group dwindled down into only doujinshi circles and h-mangaka and got dragged off into the h-manga world. lol

I started out with Shinzo and Ultimate Muscle, then went on to Dragonball and now im a huge fan :D

I watched my first Anime with 4 or 5 years, it was DB/DBZ and it was like super awesome. I played football that time and the Anime started right after I arrived home, I didn't miss a single Ep :)

Around 5. It was the American Pokemon dub. Spring of my freshman year of highschool was my first subbed anime, which was Inuyasha.

similar to gaming. as long as i could remember. the first were dbz ( even before it hit america ), project ako, and believe it or not hentai like F3 and sin city.....thats right ive been watching hentai since before i even knew what sex was >_>

Started mine with Yuyu Hakusho (GhostFighter), Dragonball, Voltes 5, and Daimos. Then came Flame of Recca, Hell Teacher Nube, Monster Hunter, HunterXhunter, Slamdunk.. And the rest is history..

I've been watching anime as early as I could remember.
Whenever my dad turns on the tv he puts it in the channel with on it. I usually watched detective conan and a rerun of doraemon back in the day.
Though I think I watch a lot more anime now than I used to.

First anime i watched was new iron giant 86.evolution E( if i am correct) and most pof the brave saga( robots fighting evil( one of the brave saga was middle school turning into awsome robots). I was exposed due to living in korea. they dubbed faster than any other country. they bebbed it and played on tv after week from original japanese air date. i realized these were japanese when i was 14 in america.

My mom bought me a VHS of Tenchi Muyo when I was like 6 or 7, I dont think she ever screened what was on it which I am thankful for to this day
