Can I bring hentai manga with me on airplanes?

I gonna be moving to Toronto in a few days for school, started packing some of my things already, and my told me not to bring any of my porn or anythings weird like that with me to the airplane.

So my question is to anyone that has experience flying is, "Can I bring hentai manga with me in my suitcase to the airport without it getting taken away from me from bag checks or whatever?"

Mainly my two Fakku books Renai Sample and Punikano. I've never flown on a plane before except when I was very young kid but I don't remember it. I also have Porno Switch on preorder that I'm gonna change my mailing address to over there now but is that gonna be taken away from me too when I'm finished school and move back? How about my laptop that has some things on it, or my usb's filled with more things?

But I guess in general what am I allowed to bring and what am I not allowed to bring before I board a plane? What should I do?

They don't check things that much. They likely aren't going to go through your laptop specifically to see if you have hentai on your laptop or on a usb stick. They honestly don't really care. If you put a hentai book in your bag, are you talking carry on or suitcase, because if it's the suitcase they won't care, all they see if there a book. I can't say for sure with carry on but I won't really be worried about it.

Remember, people take sex toys on planes when they move. These agents have seen people come through with bags full of condoms heading to brazil or somewhere else. They see people with playgirl or playboy magazines. It's not anything special.

I want to point out something relevant to this. Pilots have left porno in the cockpit. I guess it makes sense considering the location.

Anything that isn't carry-on I think just gets run through an x-ray, and printed images don't show up in those. No worries there, really. If you're really worried though, I'm pretty sure they don't ruffle through any suitcases full of clothes, so you can stick them in there.

I recently moved to Hawaii and had to pack all my doujinshi and h-manga for my flight. Although I did mail some boxes my way too. Flights to Canada aren't that different. At least the security checkpoint of checked in bags/metal detectors are the same.

Nobody is going to look twice at books in your checked baggage through an xray. I wouldn't suggest taking it on a carry on in the event they do a random search. Even then I doubt you'd get in trouble unless it was blatant lolicon, it'd just be more awkward.

Don't be obvious with it, its a gray area still in a lot of places, but I doubt they will check twice for some books.

Use common sense. A man in Canada got in trouble for doujins being sneaked from Japan to Canada. You can guess what it was. But it depends. A normie bag checker may freak out, but I doubt they'll check nor do anything to you unless you live in puritanical Australia or Canada.
