Lol, I honestly couldn't stand the anime. It was a chore to watch. I just let my friend let me know new developments on that show. I'm watching the new season, though.

Mixing it up a lot I see... How consistent is that deck? It's very techy to have that kind of mix, I can't imagine people being able to play around anything, but I'd think it'd also make it hard to draw what you need to draw.

Lol I play Velvet Voice for my Bermuda build. I also play Riviere, less frequently. I've yet to complete a Pacifica deck.



My friend and I have been playing since it first got released in English (though I didn't really get into it until a few months later)

We don't go to blogs or forums for deckbuilding help. We just help each other, because we have our own style, and don't agree with the guidelines other people seem to use.

Meanwhile, not excited for Aqua Force coming to the English meta... but I am anxious for more Angel Feather stuff for my deck. And looking far forward to the next Kagero set and Bermuda set. Also pretty curious about the new clan: Genesis. I don't like how they soulcharge like crazy, but I love the G3 of their ride chain.

i see just tested my dimension police on the tourney last weekend just having a 3-2 record so far storm hit twice making the vanguard attack twice with auto +1 critical either storm or daiyusha in case i dont get storm or didnt get wave on grade 2

BT-05 is coming late feb cant wait for Majesty Lord Blaster RP deck to build and Rain and Beauty DP build so far

Just like most others I play with, I'm excited for Draconic Overlord The End. I like the high-level Kagero decks. Sure, they're the ones that dominate tournaments, but they are also fun to play. That's the point of the game (some people at the shop I go to are too obsessed with winning to enjoy the game).

Speaking of The End, I need to adjust my Goku Kagero deck. I designed that deck so it can be interchanged between a Goku deck and a The End deck by replacing very few cards. I realized, however, that the deck has no 7k grade 1's. It's all 6k boosters, and three Bahr, the 8k vanilla.

kagero is among the balance clans so far and trial deck is best starter for newbies

This game has great balancing, in general, save for some cards. Kagero is one of the most consistent clans, though. Every build is powerful. And yeah, the Kagero trial deck, if you buy two, and then get a Conroe, you have a tournament quality deck already. Obviously, there are more things that'd greatly improve the quality of the deck outside the trial deck.

Yes, The End is deadly. Any ability to attack twice with a vanguard can be devastating. And sometimes, it's not carelessness when DOTE goes off,it's just the pressure he lays on that forces the opponent into awkward situations.

Hopefully, DOTE won't get restricted here like it what happened in Japan...

Planet Cray War? If that's what I'm thinking of, that's a different thing altogether. In that, you can even use Barcgal, which was the first vanguard card ever restricted. The ban isn't lifted, it's just a different format that lets you play those cards.

In normal tourneys in Japan, there are strict restrictions on the most used decks there: Tsukuyomi, Alfred, and DOTE.

For now, in the English version, only Barcgal is restricted. You're not allowed to use Barcgal as your starting vanguard. You can still use him in any number in your 49, however.

Does anyone have good gameplay videos of this TCG? I'm interested in learning how to play, but at the same time, I tried to watch the first episode of the anime for this, and I've got to say that the anime put me off from trying this game out.

Any videos on how to play this game too would be helpful.

Ah, yes, I've seen one of these before. I understand enough of what they're saying. Last time I watched one of these, it was a Nova Grappler deck, forget which build (it's one of the new ones) vs. Vermillion THE BLOOD. That was a cool match.

This one was exciting, though. I absolutely love the Battle Sisters deck (even though it's a little weak right now because there isn't enough for the deck yet). And they say make your top decks exciting. Lolol. Double crit trigger off the top, two pass, all to vg. Always intense moments, and you can't help but cheer when your gamble pays off.

I'm not sure I would've taken the gamble in that situation, but I can understand it. Three cards is enough to survive the rest of the attacks if there wasn't a second trigger.

Either way, thanks for showing that, rofl. Seeing one of my favorite decks win in a super awesome way like that is sweet.

going to my local hobby for practice playtest for tomorrow sanction CFV tourney

Went 3-1 today at a local shop tournament today using me and my friend's unique Tachikaze build (he designed it, I refined it). I unfortunately lost right away after getting into the top 8 due to being unable to get my G3 ride. But it was worth it because in the end, I got to see one of the employees (who was taking the day off to participate) won using Tachikaze, killing his final opponent in 2 attacks.

i'm interested in playing vanguard through webcam on skype and doesn't mind that i proxied 20 cards (if you do mind just tell me ill get rid of them) if you're interested pm me

My playgroup doesn't care about proxies, so long as they're legal. And since only one card is banned in the English meta, pretty much every card is legal, so it's fine.

BT05 sneak peak is over waiting for the release on friday

Ah, my friend won the DOTE Playmat for the sneak peek. I didn't attend because it was a bunch of MTG events, but it was pretty cool. He then won another sneak peek event and got about 60 bucks worth of store credit.
