Dakimakuras anyone?

But well, it's already a year old, so it's pretty much evry rare as well.

As far as I know, there's like 3-4 Hinagiku covers, 3 of them are at least made by Cospa.

I only have one at the moment (It's one of Yoko from TTGL), but I'd like to get more sometime.

Hey guys, great thread. I just registered and thought I would say hello (already posted in the Meet and Greet thread). I have a fairly well established collection of dakimakura covers of various types and sizes, and while new additions to my collection have been few and far between, it is always nice to meet fellow collectors and fans.

Also, there's actually a Yahoo! Group for Dakimakura Fans where I have images of about half of my collection posted here. I'll be updating it and posting pics of all of the new ones that aren't listed there in the next couple weeks.

Lol, I saw it before, and the person with the whole bunch of touhou dakis. But even then it wasn't impressive since the last posts were more then a year ago, if I recalled correctly.

Anyway, for your strike witches one, there aren't such dakis, just get them custom printed.

Anyway, I finally got my first pair of Verdant force dakimakuras, will be posting them soon.

Errr, no, really NOT worth it. First off it cost about 70USD. And they never even state the material they are using(most probably polyester). With that kind of price, I rather pay more for a authentic dakimakura.

Yeah, I did some searching around and the material listed was polyester microfiber.

Honestly gizgal, I can't really suggest whether or not it's worth it. I prefer buying authentic covers, even if the price is considerably more than a bootleg. It's just a personal preference that I haven't been able to shake. So I don't have much experience at all. I will say that from the friends I've talked to, the quality of a custom/bootleg cover can vary wildly. If you really want a couple of dakimakura covers and want to pay the lower price (and don't really care about material/if the cover is authentic), I'd suggest getting a recommendation for a custom print site versus buying from a site no one can recommend.

Actually that aside, I've seen a few sites which has 2 WT as a choice and it cost less then half of what the site you have charges.

Well, so far, not much details except for the ones on the daki blog, and as we all know, Marks loves to release details only 1-2 days before the actual event at the end of the month, so yeah. As for the hot daki, no details whatsoever yet.

Comiket is set for like the 28-29th, but that's just off the top of my head without double checking. The circle that's doing the 3P cover has released a rough sketch of a cover that will likely be available at C81, but they haven't updated any details on the 3P cover. At this point, my money would be on it being a C81 exclusive or at the My Wife event in January. Hopefully that won't be the case, since it was originally supposed to be an event exclusive and then it got changed to a mail order.... would suck if it became exclusive again. >.<


I'll probably be requesting a SMJ shipment within the next week or two; will have plenty of goodies coming with it, and not just dakimakura covers. ^^

heh, every time i come to this thread, i feel compelled to buy more dakis. i just bought 2 more, raising my total to 10 now. i know, no where near you guys, the true dakimakura collectors, lol. maybe if i didn't play/collect mtg, my collection might be almost as good.

Actually the main thing keeping me from buying alot of dakis is that i HAVE to buy a pillow to put on each one.....space definitely becomes an issue....

EDIT: *gasp* just had a awesome idea! i should get custom dakis of magic cards!!! a wilt-leaf liege/raven's run dragoon daki would be beautiful!!!
