Dakimakuras anyone?

Anko has updated their website a bit; I have a feeling they'll be doing a web reception sometime soon, possibly this weekend. Really need to clear up some SMJ bidding limit, I guess. D:

You could always buy a cheap bootleg or something that you'd be okay with damaging. Obviously wouldn't be something you used all the time, so it might offset your dislike of buying a bootleg.

Picked up a couple CAVE covers last night on the cheap!
Seller has 100% positive feedback and says that they are genuine in his listing...so we'll see.



EDIT: Also nabbed the Satoshi Urushihara C82 bundle from Mandrake (thanks for the heads up Shashin). There are a few of the premium bundles up for 6K on Mandrake right now if anyone else is interested. Definitely worth 6K IMO.

Something I didn't wanna bring up before but it has been mentioned a few times in here already -- I'm talking about onaholes. If any of you guys are interested in purchasing any, Toydemon.com is a great place! I'm sure some of you guys might of heard of it, or seen it on an online ad somewhere. For those that want a recommendation, I start out with the "Erotic Elder Sister," or "Innocent Younger Sister."

I just received a small portion of my C82 stuff.

And the Anko covers came with a notice describing there was a printing issue where Kimi's toes got cut off from the cover.

Lovely batch of loot. Shame about the toes but I guess they're not really the focal point of the cover anyways.

The auctions I won seemed to all have very slow to ship sellers, so I'll not be getting them til next week.

Haha, thanks bud. Yeah, I was the opposite, I knew they made a couple different DeathSmiles covers (and a sheet), but never knew they made one for Muchi Muchi Pork. I nearly lost my shit when I saw it!



Just as long as it isn't a printing error where image is distorted, I guess I'd be fine with it...so long as it wasn't solely my cover (or covers). You guys who purchased the Kimi cover should tweet about it somehow indirectly mentioning Anko and how more circles/artists should post physical sample shots of their covers first. I wouldn't let something that expensive with no obvious "return policy" get away with some shit like that. Like "oops, sorry, but I'm still going to take your money." Fuck that. If you speak up, and let your voice be heard, I bet stuff like this won't happen again. You don't, and it's like nothing was wrong in the first place. ;)

Which leads me to one of my biggest gripes regarding the world of dakimakura: teaser and preview images.

Frankly, I am tired of them. I had mentioned it to Shashin before, but there should be a "Censored:" section under each cover listed on blog.埋もれる抱き枕er.jp. This section could list the type of censorship applied (if any), or simply list YES/NO. Obviously it would be the responsibility of the circle/artist to announce this on their own product page or site, but I bet if the section existed on the blog, people would take notice of it and start implementing it elsewhere...eventually leading right back to the blog.
It has to start somewhere, and what better place than where all of the covers are posted, right?

It's pretty shitty to keep playing the guessing game with some of these circles, especially when you get a cover and it turns out to be something that doesn't quite line up with your expectations, or falls short thereof...it sucks! I blame the circles/artists who use censor banners to cover up stupid shit that is already censored or doesn't even really need to be censored in the first place.

Sorry for all of the venting, I guess all of the shady people and companies out there who sell you a lemon, paint it green and call it a lime. There is no accountability anymore.

Yeah I've felt like that at times too Kobun ;( If I try to believe that a lot of why people always want to include censor or sample banners is for avoiding bootlegs then it's not quite as annoying (or atleast my anger is redirected to bootleggers ;P). Though yeah the censorship bars are often placed to mislead, though there's usually enough hints from the surrounding imagery as to whether it will be censored or covered in some way or not (exception being when there's a random mosiac under it.. which is nightmare land :< ).

Found this for the Baseson cover Shashin, http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/460200/blog/27529938/ not great pics, but at least gives a good impression for the back side. It's Baseson, so it's never going to be explicit (that red string going down between her ass cheeks is so definitely going to be covering everything) but I think it looks quite nice, I'll definitely go for it if there's a shop order.

Yeah, as far as censoring goes, that's why I tend to stay away from company covers. With circles, you can never really tell if something is going to be censored or not. D: Like the few HOP covers that have been censored in the past have had a sample image without any obstruction, but it wasn't large enough to spot the censoring (if it was even on the sample image.) Company covers are usually pretty consistent in that they can't usually show too much; one should always go in assuming censorship and if you somehow get lucky and it isn't censored, count it as an exception. But yeah, you can generally tell by the surrounding area what type of cover it's going to be... it's the ones that have the massive Sample bars/caution tape/etc that I usually try to stay away from.

Ah, nice. I figured that would be the site to post the review; in my previous search their site was the best I could find since they bought two of the cover. Yeah, I knew there wouldn't be anything explicit but the chick is nice enough looking that I'm okay with that. Just wanted to get a rough idea of what the other side looked like before I decided if I wanted it or not.

The new Dracu-Riot! cover looks nice! I wonder why they didn't keep the bi-colored eyes for both sides though... D:

Comiket(-ish) stuffs arrived!

Well, it's mostly the same as Zengar's loot, just less :p Oshikit Hitoshi cover, and the full Essentia set. Shipping box was huge to accomodate the Essentia bag without folding it up, which was nice. Also a second hand copy of an old Clochette cover which I've wanted a long time but the price is too high for the few unused copies out there still... Haven't opened it yet, but looks to be in good condition at an outer glance..

Anyways to make this more interesting than just being a lesser copy of Zengar's loot, here's the full Asuna cover by Essentia!


Really loving the backside on this one, just as I expected to! Also loving the Silica+Asuna microfiber towel in the set... Comiket largely was more focused on Asuna, need some more Silica love too!

Sweet, my Fatalpulse cover arrived at the proxy. I've requested shipment as I don't plan on having anything else come in. If they're quick about it I may be able to get it in Friday, but I'm guessing it'll arrive Monday.
