Dakimakuras anyone?

I agree, mainly because it's much easier to fake printed pillow covers than a whole figure with every detail. I'm not against bootleg dakimakuras, but something tells me to avoid the stores who are willing to do such advertisement, especially faking nicknames of well known users.

You should go for a support ticket, it's worth a try in my opinion.

I'm tellin' you man, call him out. You already know the site he is promoting, and probably working for, sells bootleg covers, and you have multiple posts and user account references to back it up.

Find a cover on his site that you know is no longer available (which is probably like 90+% of them), then return to one of his posts and quote him, letting him know that you checked out the site and ask how it's possible that "Cover X" is still available when the original pre-order page(s) have been sold out, are out of stock, etc.. And if you can, find a live auction for the original and toss it in your post too. You could also call out his other accounts and his spamming there as well.

I'd be really interested to see how he responds to that. I'd hate to think that he or she is roping people into buying covers that they think are original, or perhaps with some being new to the hobby, they just don't know any better. Hell, that is how I started off and I wish someone was there to highlight bootlegs from originals and how to order them.

If it is not against Fakku rules can you say which site he is representing? I just want to make sure he is not representing one site that I know of, where they do have bootlegs but also do custom ones as well and offer them in different materials.

It probably isn't against Fakku rules, but I do my best not to link to bootleggers when I can help it. Also, practically every bootleg site out there also does custom covers as well, in a variety of materials. :P

It's an overpriced phone that really isn't any better than other phones on the market. Apple has good marketing and a rabid fanbase, but that's about it.

Jesus...the shipping fees from mandarake vary extremely. I got one dakimakura via SAL for free shipping, but the H-Comics are 4000YEN, about 40€ for the cheapest possible option. I ordered about the same amount of comics a few weeks ago and it was only 2000YEN.

Back to the iPhone 5 topic...what I experienced today was more like a war, hundreds of people standing in line, some of them were waiting since Tuesday. 3000 Dutchmen "invaded" a mall and Russians traveled to Germany just to have it before December (official release in Russia). My colleague works in Frankfurt at the Apple Store and they have to stand in line, clap their hands and cheer everytime a customer leaves with an iPhone 5.
I wouldn't mind having the new one, but this is just too much hype for me.

Hahaha! That's hella funny. I would go home and drink heavily if I was your colleague and had to work at the Apple Store during a product launch. I'd be clapping on the outside and wanting to punch the shit out of everyone on the inside. ;P

There is a lot less to mess up, but I've still seen a lot of changes in the actual products when comparing a legit to a bootleg. My best guess is that it all has to do with the sample images provided; a bootleg that had a really nice, high resolution sample image available will likely have fewer differences than the bootleg that had a lower quality sample image with a ton of watermarks/censor bars.

Really though, in principle, the same people who are against figure bootlegs should be against dakimakura bootlegs. While quality may be the primary reason they personally don't buy them, I'm sure most people are in favor of rules that prevent bootleg figures from being posted/advertised/discussed. Even though bootleg dakimakura covers are usually more accessible than their legit counterparts, and of higher typical quality than a figure bootleg, I don't think that should be any reason that the same general rules don't apply to them.

I personally despise bootleggers and I do wish that legit covers were more accessible to the mainstream audience. I probably wouldn't hold it against a single individual if they purchased a bootleg, however, I believe the opinion of the community as a whole should be harsher when it comes to accepting dakimakura bootlegs.

One more question about SMJ, with the deposit... do I have to keep adding to it to spend more, or does my spending limit reset after a certain amount of time or when some transactions completely finish?

Hmm, afaik you have to keep adding if you want to spend more. After the transaction for one item is finished it resets.

Keep in mind that Mandarake is a few different stores so they each have their own rules, etc. I know at least two of them have decent customer service, although can't name them off hand.

Your deposit will reset after your payment has been process. So if you start with a 10k deposit and buy two items for 2.5k, you're down to 5k limit. Say one item was an auction and the other was a preorder set to release a few months down the line. After you pay for the auction, your available limit will go up to 7.5k but the other 2.5k will be held until they receive the preorder and you pay for it. You can always increase your limit, but that's a good way to spend more than you intend... trust me >_>

触手 appears to be tentacle. That's probably all you'd need to search to get relevant results. For YJA, you'd almost certainly have to search in the adult section, though. Searching the term in the general section got me maybe 5 pages of results but searching it in the adult section got me 10+.

exokiel, regarding Mandarake shipping, that does seem a bit strange unless you're using a different shipping method. You said your ordered the same number of books, and the shipping difference is 2k, but it could be possible that the books you ordered this time are thicker and required a larger size box. Especially if you're going for a more expensive shipping method (EMS/DHL), the jump in price from a small box to a medium box can increase the shipping cost a sizeable amount.
