Dakimakuras anyone?

Well I've never actually used Yokatta, but the few times I've contacted them, they've seemed to move pretty slow to respond, but their fees are supposedly the cheapest. SMJ > Rinkya when it comes to fees associated with auctions and special orders, but it's also nice to have Rinkya as a back up, and Rinkya allows users to save on doujinshi by bundling same seller, same day, etc. So that's pretty cool.

As for the Ninokoya cover: from what I can gather, using Google translate, it looks like there was enough interest and it will be put into production. I'm guessing from the mention of October that pre-orders should be opening sometime this month. :)

@JDennis007: That's a pretty cool DVD bonus! I wish more DVDs came with stuff like that...especially in the US. :)

I use Yokatta for 99% of what I order since they're the cheapest. I've tried a few times to switch, but just wasn't practical enough.

I find the owner usually responds next day, during Japanese hours, but in the case of items that sell out quickly this can cause issues as you need multiple points of contacts before the order is made. First you must contact to inquire about the item, then you must pay the fee they give you, once they see the payment they then make the order.

The Fatalpulse cover a while back I had tried to order twice from Yokatta, but didn't even make it to the point of paying as it sold out twice before that point. willowywicca had even paid but by the time they tried to put in an order it was sold out so they had to refund.



Yeah, it was a must order once I seen it. I even ordered the DVD and I believe it also comes with a manga and posters when I seen it. The style suits my tastes so I might of went overboard. :P

Well, it's good to have backup services, especially if you're going for exclusives. I learned it the hard way through Yokatta, I was going for Volks figures but they were sold out the next day.

Yeah Yokatta isn't really reliable when speed is of the essence, but for things with no rush they're good (price wise anyway....).

Yeah they ship internationally, just mention in the optional comments part when ordering that you want to ship international and pay by paypal. Each order you make has it's own comments thread associated with it, which is likely where they will communicate with you about the order.

Register now to be ready when it goes up for sale, as some people have some issues when registering an account at times. Typically it's because their address is too long, if you get a mysterious failure when registering, trying shortening your address to some small gibberish, then after you have successfully registered you can alter the account details to the correct address.

And payment is upfront?

Yeah, it is. Though if you put in your order near the start of the preorder, you usually have about a month to pay; payment is due 2-3 days after the preorder closes and they're usually open for a month or so.

The cover is really nice, fabric feels good...BUT there's a lot of damaged spots on the fabric, mostly on the backside near the bottom. It was new, so I'm wondering how that could happen.

I mentioned wayyyyy back before about how this is the poorest 2WT material.
I have this and the Mana cover and both are easily damaged(Both are made with DC ya 2WT)

That bondage cover is really nice. Seen it on the blog and have it on my wish list. I wish they showed a front bondage and rear bondage though. The good thing is we have until late November to decide. :)

Did anyone ever experienced Mandarake messing up with your tracking number or shipping your order to the wrong adress? I just checked on my status and it said that it was delivered a few minutes ago... in Springfield, IL. I mean how is this possible, a door next to mine wouldn't be tragic, but to another country on the other side of the world >.<
Just replied to their first mail. I wonder if it's just a SAL tracking problem (again) or actually accurate.

They usually opened up preorders for about a month. You put in an order with that them, saying you want to pay via PayPal. After some time (could be a few hours, could be a week) you'll get an email from their system; it will be in Japanese, but it basically says you have a new comment on your order. You log into your account, find the relevant order ID, click it, and you'll see the comment thread for that order. They usually ask you to confirm the purchase price first, since they now charge in USD, there's a currency conversion fee through PayPal, and any shipping charges. Once you confirm the total, you might have to wait a few days again, but they'll send you a PayPal invoice. You pay it, and then once they're ready to ship they'll ship yours; it's usually about a month after the close date of the preorder.
