That's not bad at all. The front face looks a little bland, but the back face and the back pose is really good. As soon as I get this Evening Call situation cleared I'll probably toss up an order for her.

I don't think I've seen anything from that circle before.

You surprise me, because it is pretty tame by your standards.

I love nothing more than a nice and explicit cover, but a primary attribute is always the art. Anko is my favorite artist because their art is absolutely fantastic and some of the most explicit work I've seen, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate some wonderful art from time to time. I really wanted to buy both of those covers, but I didn't; if they were more explicit, it's probably fair to say that I absolutely would have purchased them. Either way, I'd still love to own both of them eventually, explicit or not.

Yeah, I remember seeing that one and it was indeed quite nice. But even before Tier's reviews, the Catherine and Inori covers were the two that really stuck out to me. I really like their recent Asuka cover too. Overall, they're quickly becoming a high quality circle that I'm keeping my eye on more and more; can't wait to see some of the stuff they release in the future. :D

Yeah, wasn't going to link it to you because I didn't want to start a bidding war in between us. :P I really can't afford it, but I'm half tempted to toss in a bid. Even so, I'll probably wait, because that's probably the cover they intend to sell some of at My Wife; they said they'd have a very limited number of items at C83, if I was understanding the post correctly.

And seriously, you always draw attention to my finances and ask how I do it, but how the hell do you finance spending like that? o.O My average event (be it Comiket or another event) tend to cap out at 50k or so, if that.

Well, this sounds dumb but I always obtain more money then I can spend on average.So typically when I spent less on previous months , I always have enough to buy almost everything I want during comiket events.But this month I had to let go abit, if not you would see me hit 200-300k yen. Just bought a wii U and a couple of games and prior to comiket I just purchase a bunch of stuff off mandarake as well which amount to about 400 bucks by itself already.
If I add anymore stuff, I won't be able to save money like I do every month.

Sounds like you have a crazy good job. I'm still a few years away from getting my degree, which should put me in a similarly good position, hopefully. Even so, 200-300k on an event twice a year, combined with our normal spending, is really crazy. As it is now, the few side jobs I do are enough to just barely support the hobby at a moderate level. It definitely helps that I don't have much in the way of bills otherwise, or I'd probably not be able to buy anything at all. :P

Edit: On another note, that Asuna looks like it's from the same circle that released the really cute Azusa a few years back. I finally managed to get my hands on it, and it's wonderful. Looks like they have another cover floating around too that's absurdly expensive; the full set is on Mandarake for 100k.

Anyway, this is small portion of what I've gotten the past few days, hopefully I'll see my c83 goods soon.

More than a little jealous right now. Are those Marks covers from Mandarake? I had considered the Haruhi cover (I forget her name) when they added her, but didn't have the money to spend for a cover I didn't want that much. How is the new Nymph version? It didn't look too much different from the other versions, other than a slightly different expression, so I'm happy with the ones I have.

The Evening Call covers, on the other hand. If there were any covers I would have liked to ordered doubles of, it would have been their C83 lineup. Not so much because the covers are fantastic (they are), but the 1500 experience a piece would have been really nice to have. As it is, I was only able to order 1 Fate.

Only Mikuru and the condom girl is from Mandarake, nicest part was it turned out to be 2WT for such a steal. Well,previously, you bought off the Himeko Tachibana cover.
The genital art is kinda primitive though, while more detailed then most circles. Is pretty simple looking.

The Nymph from SHT is just a different expression version of the old web order variant. Guess the rarest would be the comiket version and best version as it has a completely different post and shows more on the back.

Yeah, I could tell it wasn't SK Suede by the display picture, so the chances of it being roika/tricot were pretty good (assuming they didn't just use a previous display shot, which happens from time to time.) I think it's pretty similar with Anko, too; most of their covers feature a spread of some sort, but those that don't aren't anything too special in the genital area.

I bought that cover within 5 minutes of it being posted... everything worked out quite well when they finally invoiced me considering it was from Grandchaos and they don't add a lot of covers to the English site, and that pretty much all of the Marks/Anko stuff sells out within minutes of being posted. I flip flopped on the Mikuru for a good 5-10 minutes (with a few other covers, too) before I decided against it. The Tachibana cover was still pretty good, but the changes to the "limited exclusive" version compared to the other versions were pretty minimal and a bit disappointing. Especially considering how different/extreme some of their other exclusives have been.


I have a copy of both of the Nymph covers, so I forget which is which. My favorite is definitely the Tsundere version, though. It's a shame that her uniform is blocking some of the bits (but not much)and her facial expression more than makes up for it.

Wasn't me. I've run into the same thing a few times, where it was either SMJ bidding or Yokatta/Rinkya.

And there are so many recently released Asuna covers that it's hard to keep track of them all. o.O

Yeah SAO seems to be really popular, despite having quite many flaws in the anime adaptation (and perhaps source novel too). And Asuna is at the peak of popularity, even though Suguha was so much cuter ;( I did enjoy the anime overall, but I wouldn't say it was anything great or especially memorable. Character designs are nice though!

Ended up getting those 2 covers (obviously) and also the Essentia Suguha/Leafa one.. so I've 2 covers total of Asuna and Suguha now then..

As I mentioned a few weeks back, those were pretty much the only two covers I was looking for this comiket (aside from maybe getting one of the Boot Up covers). So I didn't think that it would have been someone here, and I had linked that seller to Shashin a couple days ago because I couldn't believe how many of those covers they had.
Sorta' relieved that you outbid me because I went to bed thinking I did NOT want to drop 30K on them. ;P

Yeah I was thinking it might be you or Zengar, but after I won it I was pretty sure it wasn't Zengar since I don't think I'd ever beat him on anything :p

It was looking to be a nice low price of 24500 but that other guy kept incrementing it by 1k hoping to beat me in the last 5minutes, til giving up at 29500. Still not a bad price for 2 covers and doujins. The suguha one was going for 16k+ alone from what I saw.

And yeah.. that guy alone seems to have like 1/2 the supply of all Nanase Mel Chi covers up for auction :p
