I've never used the specific material myself and don't have any other experience with it. 2WT refers to the type of weave used, I believe, though all 2WT covers are typically a polyester/polyurethane mix. It's possible that the different manufacturers tweak the way they weave covers together a bit, but they do typically use a different composition of the blend. For 2WT, I've seen as high as 80/20% Polyester/Polyurethane, but it ranges from that to 93/7%. For comparison, most non-2WT covers use a different material entirely (suede, etc) or 100% Polyester.
4WT is B&W Store's old material. It was very durable and felt pretty good. I liked it a lot more than their new material, OC01 or whatever.

Shashin I saw your post on Reddit.
I'm incredibly jelly. How rich are you lol? I've wanted the tan Asagi, orange haired girl from Lovers, and the Dakimakura from Ordin Soft.
Please take good pictures of them if you open them!

Not rich at all, sadly. :( That's several months worth of stuff, and it took me forever to pay it all off.

Does anyone know where or how to order this? http://shigentei.jugem.jp/?eid=26It was sold about two years ago, so your chances of finding it are slim. Your best bet is to check Mandarake/YJA on a regular basis, and hope that a copy pops up eventually. The relevant search term would be ç´«æºäº.

Trust me, man, we've all been there (and probably all there currently.) This is not a hobby that's easy to keep up with.
Uh oh, this doesn't sound good. D:

Can't get an accurate translation, but it looks like explicit stuff will be a lot more policed than normal this Comiket. Obviously this will be a problem for doujinshi, but I imagine it might also create a problem for the more explicit dakimakura producers. I know anko has gone relatively tame the last few covers, and I wonder if other artists will start to follow this trend. :(

Hello guys, I'm a newbie to dakimakura collecting. Shashin told me it would be in my best interest to follow this thread. So here I am!
Some stuff I finally got the nerve to ship out:
(sorry about the poor quality)
@magus242: totally agree with you. I don't know much longer I can keep at it.. I thought figures were expensive...

That is the stupidest shit I have read all month. For a territory that has some pretty raunchy and crazy fetishes, their government and laws need to loosen up a bit on illustrations.

Welcome to the thread, MySmile. :3
It is ridiculously expensive! I don't even want to think about the amount of money I've dropped on covers over the last two years. I'd probably have a cardiac arrest.

That's sound really bad. I do understand they are strictly prohibit the loli one but "obscene" circles are considered the majority here, why they would do that. I feel kinda sad...
I went to the mandarake store (Fukuoka branch). It's really surprising how many goods they have. Because their web store is far from completion, So many covers that did not have even a trace in the website can be found here. I can hardly wait to visit the "complex" (akiba branch).
That aside, I decide not to go to C85 this time due to
1. The weather forecast predict that it will get a lot colder in japan this year, you can be both freeze and dehydrated at the same time.
2. The new policy mentioned above
and some small factors I have to considered. Kinda pity but I guess it's fine since all of my favorite artist did not produce any new cover. I think I'm addicted to mandarake too.
The question today is that I remembered Circle Marks's cover is considered a very rared one
I found a nymph cover in http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-1449814.html
wondering is 20k is reasonable for mark's cover? (Sora no otoshimono is my favorite anime so I'm willing to pay but I don't have that much knowledge about the circle itself)

Yeah, I'd actually push my trip back a week or two and go to Ore no Yome instead, if I could. But I'd probably have to pay a few hundred bucks to make the changes to my flight/hotel, and I don't really know if it's worth the hassle there.
As for the Marks cover, a year or two ago, I would have said that it's a great price. There are 3-4 versions of the Marks Nymph cover, and the first two are fairly rare/expensive. That looks like it's the newest version, which isn't as expensive. Still, 20k isn't a bad price for a Marks cover, especially if you like the character/art. You might be able to find it cheaper on YJA, but I don't know.

Yeah it's an expensive hobby for sure, but when there's lovely things like that Hisasi cover you got there, it's impossible to resist!

I was thinking about getting one, if i did it would either be an idolmaster Yayoi one or an oreimo kuroneko/kiririn one with preference on the idolmaster yayoi. i've googled around and i cant find any satisfactory ones for yayoi specifically, no shortage of kuroneko and kirino though. i probably will buy one in the next few months i just really really want to find a good yayoi one, i cant yet but i'll keep looking, anyway if anyone knows a place that ships to the uk and has a wide range (specifically idolmaster) send me a message. Thanks

I only have one of Shizuru Nakatsu at the moment, and it's only one sided... but it's like 5 feet so that's pretty cool, I'll get more when I have the chance... and the money.

I guess I might start giving YJA a try. I can understand most of its part but still not have that much confident that I can make it done since the first try.
I have registered my yahoo japan ID and ready to do some auction. I have both credit card and JP bank account so payment should not be a problem. And I have verified my account by mobile phone.
So.. are there anything else I should know before entering this world? I'm planning to use YJA for both cover and figure. (I suppose YJA bidding did not cost anything right ;w;? I have heard something about quibid and such)
Any suggestion will be appreciate.

It is 350 yen per month, which is tied to your Japanese credit card, which has to be used in order to place bids over 5000 new user threshold.
