Dakimakuras anyone?

Yah, makes sense. You've got any of the clochette dakis?

I have Serika (pink haired one), Chisa (dark purple haired) and Kaho (light purple haired) from Amatsu Misora Ni! And should have Kotoha (light blue haired) from Kamikaze Explorers arriving some time next week. Also planning to get the new comiket one of Fuuka, and also have ordered the sofmap clochette box for the Mishio (red haired one) cover too. Serika was the first one I got and absolutely fell in love with both the art, and the AJ2way material (it being my first of that type). I did thought of getting Serika but I gave up because I find her less busty then of the cast.>_< But she is wonderful though. Plus my habit of buying 2 of everything would kill me. Fuuka will be a must get and I'm still struggling on whether to get the mishio since it's 15k and I'm not even sure if it's going to be 2WT, since the previous boxes dakis were all smooth knit.

Got my Big Love covers today. Too lazy to take some pictures now, but I might later. Very pleased with the results though; Big Love has to be one of the best values for the money if you buy from YJA.

Really? I would think it would be the other way around. I'm with you guys on the normal/larger size. I prefer those a lot more.

Haha, yeah. Unfortunately, it's a bit disappointing. I don't know if the modder was just a bit too ambitious, screwed something up along the way, or the figure is a bootleg/GK, but the paint job is really rough; the hair especially has quite a few chip spots and such. And the pool cues (that's what the insertion is) are so massive that the figure doesn't look too great without one, due to the gaping hole left behind.

I'd still buy from the seller though; I know he does use legitimate product most of the time and I'm very pleased with my other two figures that were done by him.

Yeah I normally tend more towards the more busty types too, but she was pretty irresistable! According to the tweets from AkibaSofmap (which I assume is their official tweeting alias since the dakimakura blog is linking them) Mishio is going to be 2way tricot this time so hopefully that will end up true, and also true for future boxes.

Hmm, Think I'll place an order for one copy of the box, since Mishio is a nice looking miko. Which is why I value my Hazuki so much, since she's also one.

Dunno if any of you have any orders with bwstore, but recently a bunch of their dakimakura got delayed as the OriginZero manufacturers had some kind of printer failure. It seemed for a while they were going to be swapping to AJ2way instead, but after contacting them today for date as to when the Sena dakimakura by sadakofxe circle would be released they told me it's been swapped to a new material instead. Anyhow here's the important content of the mail:

"And printing machine has malfunction last month.
And many customer feedback they hope we can provide the elastic fabric better than A&J.

Manufacture spend 2month to develop new fabric.
And has begun to resume production by use new OC01 2way poly elastic fabric last week.

New "OC01 2way poly elastic fibers" has better color performance.
More smooth than 4Way fabric when you touch it.
No longer exists the white color gap when you pull the OC01 2way poly elastic fabric."

So it's a new material which they think is competitive with AJ2way, will be interesting to see what it's like. Sena daki isn't expected to ship until 2012/1/20 now though, when it was originally meant to be end of november :(

Also, in effort to show, what I guess you could call "demand" stateside, I picked up a couple new covers that came packed in with the last couple issues of Dengeki G's Festival Magazine from a local Japanese book store. I'll post the pics later tonight. While only single-sided, they are pretty nice covers.

I quite like the dengeki ones in general, they've had some quite nice covers for a reasonable price.

Huh, yeah. I was waiting for my Sena and Laura to ship, which I figured would be happening soon, because I just got my Lotte a few days ago. Hadn't bothered to check out the status of the other covers. Hopefully the new material is good; 4WT is definitely a bit weird, but I was actually starting to like the feel of it.

I'm not surprised they didn't go with A&J, though. Not only are they generally a bit more expensive, but from what I've been reading regarding Evening Call and a few other circles, they don't allow things of the more explicit nature (juice around the nether regions was the biggest mention, but I'd imagine other rules apply too) so that really wouldn't work out for most of BWStore's offerings.

I'm not too fond of it when both sides are really similar like that, feel like I'm not getting my money's worth ;( Other than that it's a nice one too though yep!

I prefer a front side/back side shot on a cover myself, over two front side shots. Especially since a lot of covers that choose to go two front side shots usually just go from more clothing to less clothing (the second link cover up there is an example.) But if I like the character/artist well enough, I'm usually willing to buy it anyway.

Should be lots of good stuff in it; my Dizzy and Alice from Evening Call, some good stuff from Argyle, and extremely cute Laura, and then some other covers I'm really looking forward too. (As well as two more makaizao figures, both of which should be better than my previous batch.)

Yeah, I hear you on that. I was just speaking in terms of art style. I feel like just moving a layer in PS and calling it "Side A/Side B" is a lazy method of making a two-way cover.
