SDCC is absolutely bananas! Granted, I've only been twice, but both times were nutty - People are seriously everywhere, and all of them leave their manners and courtesies at home (I'm big on that sort of thing). It's fun, don't get me wrong, but I can only take so much before I want to start clotheslining people! ;)

Anyhow, back to the actual thread subject matter: I received the large ERECT TOUCH micro fiber towel and fig in the mail today (will post pictures later this evening). This is the first and only time I will ever say that I was happy to have an appt. for my faulty Comcast HSI service. Literally 10 minutes after the tech left, I was getting ready to leave the house and the FedEx truck pulls up - perfect timing! I thought I was going to miss the delivery and have to go pick it up at the dist. center, like I always end up doing. You seriously couldn't wipe the grin off of my face when I opened the package. It was like gazing into the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. Thanks again Shashin for the URLs to the auctions. Oh, and for emptying my wallet too. ;) Nah, that's my own fault. But staying up until 6AM paid off (figuratively speaking) because I won the bidding war!


EDIT: Also, on a side note that's crazy to think that within one month that this thread has gone from 22 pages to almost 40. Makes me happy to have somewhere to talk about this sort of thing - could seriously go on about it for days. Just started watching Oreimo...is that sad that it hits so close to home?

Not sad at all (though lucky you if you have a kuroneko near you!). Genshiken and Welcome to the NHK hit a lot closer to home for me, since I found I have a lot/too much in common with Madarame and Satou respectively. Haven't quite reached the stage of taking covert photographs of elementary school girls though!

Nah, the band-aids are indeed still there, and the quality is very nice as promised- satin cloth through and through. It was also no where near 7000-9000 yen, t'was actually quite affordable. Perhaps you are thinking of another circle.

Where did you buy it from? It's very likely a bootleg, though honestly in this case, you probably got the better deal. Whether yours is legitimate or not, I'm definitely not confusing circles.

C81 was brutal. My total damages hit 110k yen.
