Dakimakuras anyone?

Which cover were you bidding on? I do hate when that happens, but it generally seems to be the rule and not the exception; I don't know how many times I've held a stable bid on something for days only to have it jump up aggressively in the last day or two. I'd say it happens 99 times out of a 100, sadly. :(

Yeah, thought as much. The circle posted on the 1st saying that they'd likely open it up for web reception (along with their other two C81 covers.) Been checking back every day to see if there have been any updates, but no luck yet. They have a few covers closing for preorder in the next couple of days, so I'd imagine news would come around then, hopefully.

Honestly at this point I'm not sure I even care. It will still be good, but if it were to release in the next month or two, I doubt I'd be able to afford it. The artist doing it is one of my favorites when it comes to dakimakura covers, but I have way too many Sena/Kobato covers as it is. I'll still probably order it if they do a web reception.

I can never get enough Sena I only got 2 Kobatos though, both from Black and white store.
I currently stand at 6 dakis from Evening call, Boncool and Marks. Although 3 of them are just a 2nd copy.>_>

Now, if I could get a nice daki of my new sig, my life is complete(well,almost)

For Sena I have two on order through Evening Call, one from BWStore, and one from BonCool.

For Kobato I own a BWStore and Argyle cover, and wanted to buy the BonCool/BWStore 2P cover, but never came up with the money to pay upfront before the closing date.

I'm beyond excited. I've been a fan of Evening Call roughly since their inception, with my first purchase from them being their 4th product, and over the last few months they've probably become my favorite dakimakura circle. This just solidifies it.

Hmm, currently their FAQ says "International Shipping is available, we will only support bank transfers in Japan until the introduction of payment paypal." So yay international shipping, but how does one go about doing a bank transfer payment? Or maybe the paypal support will be soon available so it won't be an issue. I wasn't planning on getting that touhou 2P, but with the date going as far as late february I may be able to afford it afterall.

Yeah, that's what my thinking is. I actually commented on their site redesign on Twitter, and added that it was unfortunate they don't ship internationally. At the time, the text was still the old "We only ship in Japan", but they actually sent me a message back saying they would ship internationally, and the text was changed when I checked a few minutes later. My guess is that it's technically not possible to order as a foreigner now, unless you happen to have a Japanese bank account, but I could be wrong. Hopefully they'll have Paypal up and running soon.

I was definitely getting the Touhou 2P, and was thinking about the other two; kinda strange that I had a role reversal on both. I was initially going to buy the Kobato and didn't really care about the other, but now my opinion is kinda swapped... I may still buy both depending on finances, but we'll see.

Registration appears to be an issue too; I tried signing up and entered something into all the boxes but got an error that basically translated to "User addition failed; contact admin". My guess is that my postal code/address wasn't in a format they were expecting, and thus registration failed... but I don't know. Maybe you'll have better luck than I do. :P

In short, unless you have a good fortune of owning a Japanese bank account, it won't matter much till they open up paypal as an option.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to imply with my first post on them shipping internationally. So hopefully they'll open it up soon.

BTW, I had no issues with registration. I've gotten their 500 points bonus.
