Yeah, same here. I believe I remember reading on a translation on their site that as you level up, your bonus level increases. To me, that sounds like in addition to extra rewards, your points accumulation may speed up a bit. But I honestly have no idea.

I just put my full name down twice in english (though the first kanji one had a character limit it exceeded.. after I made the account I was able to edit it with my full name on the edit page which had no character limit).

Damn, I am so excited to place an order! I hope they get the PayPal thing sorted out sooner rather than later. I want that C81 Touhou cover big time (as if I hadn't already made that pretty clear in previous posts). ;)

Yeah, and no proxy fees either. It would be nice to get the spare points and such, that are available for the next few days, but I'll be happy as long as it's sorted out by February. Along with their C81 covers, I'm definitely ordering No 96, too.

Heh, my full name didn't fit but I was able to chop my full first name down to 3 letters, so that helped. Either of you run into the address problem?


Edit: By clicking the star on your name, you can see what the levels do, at the very least. Level 1 = 1x point multiplier, Level 2 (5000 xp) = 1.1x, and Level 3 (15000 xp) = 1.2x. Hopefully they'll do more with this system, but honestly it's just a cool bonus on covers I was going to buy anyway.

Weird, when I try plugging in my full address and saving the changes, I keep getting an error. Best I can put is United States. Not sure if it's because I'm trying to cram in a full mailing address or what, but if you're not having any problems, I don't know.

I'd say go for it if you want it; that's a fairly decent price if you get it around there, considering it retailed for 10500. The image is fairly nice, and even better that you like the artist.

I will say that I'm not a fan of the seller, though. He's a seller that frequently snatches shit off Mandarake and then relists it for 2-3x the price he paid. Not necessarily a bad thing, but out of principle I try to avoid buying from him if I can. I've purchased one cover from him, and it was fairly disappointing; the coloring was terribly faded. I had a few other covers from the circle, and they did tend to use lighter covers, but this just didn't look right at all. So I'm not sure what the deal was there.

Have you tried to change your address by placing another set of numbers in the lead and then try saving?
I managed to fit address number, street, city, state, zip and country in that field.

Also, was the cover you bought from this user legit? Maybe I should try searching for the same cover and compare prices. There has to be a reason why it's cheaper....

It's not a matter of space, like the name box; I can fit everything just fine without it being cut off, but when I try to save I get an error. It's really strange.

That's a hard question to answer. Honestly, I'd lean towards it being legit over not, but who knows. The cover arrived in similar packaging and I'm pretty sure it had some pack-ins the circle usually provides. I don't know if it was just a defective printing job, supposed to be that way (I highly doubt that), or what... but it doesn't look like it should.

And I wouldn't be that worried about the price, honestly. The cover is over a year old, so he's likely been trying to sell it for awhile now without any luck. It's not a buyout either, so there's a fairly good chance that once someone bids, other people will realize this is their last chance to bid on it and do so. Mandarake also sold on at one point for 8000 yen, so you're probably fine.


Edit: Apparently it might have been a matter of space, but it just didn't have a visibly cap like the Kanji box; switching United States to USA appears to have allowed it to save.


On the cover note, my guess is that it's probably legit, but it just looks like the colors should be a lot darker. My picture isn't the best to see the level of fade, given I probably had to use a flash, but here's a face shot + the sample image:

Hopefully it was just a weird error or really meant to be that faded in my case, and everything goes well with your purchases. I've considered buying some other items from the seller at some point, since he does often have a lot of fairly rare stuff up, but the things I'd consider are usually marked up way too high for my liking. I want that Miku cover so much, but not for 55000 yen (though the last few sold for 60000+ >_>).

Edit: Browsing through their pages, it looks like they actually have Alice in stock. Hopefully they'll sort out Paypal soon, and you'll be able to pick her up at a really good price. :D

I feel you. Looking back, they actually have a few covers in stock that I'd consider purchasing, along with the ones I definitely want to preorder. I'll give it a few days, and then if we haven't heard anything, maybe I'll ask when Paypal will be available.
