Dakimakuras anyone?

ROFL, Im the one who got the nymph,and coincidentally, you took the cover that I wanted too as well.
I'll have to say though, the 30k nymph at YJA is the comiket version that has clothes, the one that appeared on Mandarake was the normal web order version which is completely nude.

Amura, though there maybe a fairly decent choice for Mio, Rei is pretty much limited. Even then most of them are Ero. So if you want a normal one, it's gonna be tough.

Damn you, then. :P I guess it's not all that bad though, as I haven't been wanting the cover for a long time, just the last week or two. I don't yet own a Marks cover, but from what I've seen, I'm not as impressed as I have been with some other circles. I think they do a good job with faces, though. I wanted the cover more for the character than the actual circle, and I'm far from well versed in their lineup. So thanks for saving me a potential waste of money; I had tried searching for sample images, and could only find them for the version you got. I figured if they both had similar levels of nudity, I would have preferred the pouty face.

The あんこ工房 cover on the other hand, I've had my eyes on for awhile, and they're easily one of my favorite dakimakura circles. When I searched the string of keywords I use on Mandarake (their search is fairly inconsistent at times... I try to browse their Japanese site when I can, but it saddens me to see items on the Japanese site that aren't available on the English side) and saw a couple of new covers since my last search (maybe only 3-4 hours before), I knew I had to jump. I really wanted Nymph, but she was already sold out, so I thought about the あんこ工房 cover for 2 seconds before going "yeah, if the Nymph cover already sold, this one is going to sell soon."

I already know exactly what one I'm going to get him for Rei, and yes from Evangalion :3

And I find it harder to find Mio ones...o.O If you know any good/trusted/cheap sites? I'm not worried about good filling, since I can get the pillows cheap...>.>....

Well, the thing about marks is that they can completely how a caracter look like. All, I will say is that I Own several dakis from marks all look fantastic my photos dun do them justice since Im a horrible photographer. I will try to take a phto of the certs of marks daki to show.

And miss, what kind of Mio are you lookin for.Clean or erotic ones？

It would depend on exactly what you're looking for. Unfortunately, it's unlikely you'll find a legitimate cover for much less than 10000 yen. And it varies wildly by circle. I find that the average retail price these days ranges from 10500-15000 yen, with some exceeding that; and then if you don't manage to pick it up during the cover's retail run, you risk having to pay more on top of that. Of course, that's if you're looking for legitimate goods; bootleggers often sell for quite a lot less, but I personally can't speak for their quality/trustworthiness, as I do my best to purchase only the real deal.

However, if you're willing to pay the premium, the best site to find (relatively) "cheap" covers would probably be Mandarake. They sell almost all of their products second hand, but oftentimes they are still sealed and the product information will generally tell you the condition of the item. They're certainly trustworthy; I've been doing business with them for over a year now, and have never been displeased. They ship fast, answer any questions quickly, and have an amazing selection of goods.

I'd recommend going through some of the images I link below to see if there are any you like; if you see any you like, I'd be more than willing to look around and see about how much the cover is selling for currently. Or just to get a better idea of what you're looking for.

Obviously the first is a Google image search, but the second is a blog dedicated entirely to dakimakura covers. I'd scroll through it, and go through the pages (I see at least 8.) You'll see a lot of non-Mio covers, but that's because they tend to post images in blocks, so when a Mio cover was posted, they may have posted another 2-3 covers as well.

Actually，most mandarake sakis are unused they are treated as ２nd hand because most of the items are opened to be inspected.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant. The majority are unused, however, they still tend to come from second hand sources.

Bought my first two daikimakuras yesterday with my tax refund, anxiously awaiting their arrival.

I'm really considering trying getting some now. Well at some point in the future. I can't really describe Dakimakuras but the word fantastic seems to fit the criteria.

I kind of want one just because, a guy one of course, sexy Breif. It's kind of embarrassing, but don't think I'd be too ashamed considering my bf would probably have one too, lol.

I think everyone who has an interest in anime, or rather hentai, should consider owning a dakimakura. Whether you stuff them on a pillow or just use them as a tapestry, they're great pieces of art modeled after your favorite character(s). What's not to love?

I just got most of my stuff from SMJ today; I'm still waiting for a few more special orders to come in, but I couldn't hold off shipping for everything else any longer. It's a fairly large collection of goods, but they've been holding things for a few months now, so it's not that outrageous... if you collect dakimakura covers, that is. If you don't, then I'm sure you'd probably consider it pretty crazy. >_>

Mafuyu: Your only realistic option would be Mandarake; they get in a lot of hard to find stuff at reasonable prices, and they update every day. They currently don't have that cover though, and it's honestly unlikely that they'll get it in anytime soon. There's a couple other sites that carry dakimakura covers, such as AmiAmi and Hobby Search, but they very rarely carry stuff past its run, unless it gets a second release, which is unlikely for this particular item.

Unless you wanted to search eBay (and likely get a bootleg product), your last resort would be going through a proxy and picking it up on YHJ. But I just did a quick search and I don't see it listed. Still, it's likely to be your best option in the future.

how do clean it? i got the pillow with graphics. do i un-stuff it, wash it then re-stuff it. if do then that sucks couse i cant sew

Err nope, I've never dealt with such a pillow, maybe cleaning it's cover with a wet cloth and spraying some anti-bacterial febreeze should be just fine.

Anyway, a little update here.Im dying to show Nymph but I think she's forbidden for obvious reasons.

I've really cut down on my dakimakura expenditures the last few weeks; I got the massive order a couple months ago, and have purchased 3-5 since then. Just a cover from あんこ工房 and two Illust Guerrilla covers I'm having SMJ hold until their Nymph comes in (if ever.) The good thing is that one of those covers is a roica version of Sono and Nagomi.
