Dakimakuras anyone?

Yeah we have that here, too. If I miss it, I can pick it up at the local post office the next day, but with FedEx it is same-day pick up. There have been rare occasions where I have been able to pick up missed EMS shipments at the post office on the same day. I've just called and told them that I'd be by after 5PM. Very rare that they will do this for you though. I mean, if you are paying for EMS you every day = top-dollar paid in shipping. So even if it's less than one day, that is still money that you shelled out for one of the fastest delivery methods available.

Well, one is a 2nd copy of Fuuka so we'll ignore it.

This is a first for me to obtain a complete rabbit.net set.
I've own about 3-4 of them but it's always just the daki, damn money grubbers selling the other stuf seperately, I got lucky and got this for 13k.~_~
Comes in a nice plastic case and even has a card jacket for the phone card, very nice.
Fate came with a post card.

I notice the circle who drew this Fate made some improvement on the nether regions(previously it was just a line) but their nipple drawings could use some improvement. The character art is nice as always though.

Though, I'm satisfied with the daki but that small detail kind of bugs me considering my other rabbit daki did not have any mosiac.

Anyway, I found out Fate is made of Mastumoto 2WT. which is also a 83 to 17 ratio blend, as I own the previous fate daki, I have to say it's an awesome material, feels very smooth but very resilient at the same time. Looking forward to evening call's Sena.

Ah yeah the dakimakura blog had actually posted a pic on twitter of that censored ass when it was first released prior to comiket 81. Similarly surprised and disappointed at the somewhat random censoring.

And is is Matsumoto Spandex or does it say 2WT? I know the material Evening Call (and a few other circles) are using now that Seiren and A&J are out (unless they want to censor the image a bit), is called Matsumoto Spandex. It seems like it would be pretty similar to 2WT since 2WT is spandex like in itself, but I just want to make sure they don't have two different materials.

Edit: Just looked it up on the dakimakura blog and it is listed as 2WT. Makes me wonder if Matsumoto Spandex is a different material entirely.

Oh, and in regards to my Lilith cover I bought a few weeks back: it is on its way and unfortunately does not come with the poster, only CD. I guess the poster was exclusive to the site, dunno'.
While it is a nice bonus, I don't really care much for the CD - not like I'm gonna' light some candles, dim the lights, slip on the cover, pop in the CD and ?????. ;3

And yeah, bonuses tend to be hit or miss. CDs are more on the miss side, I'd say; my favorites are things like tapestries and such that have come with a few covers. Other cool bonuses have included buttons, coasters, and keychains.

Yeah, bonus vocal CDs are pretty "meh'." A CD wouldn't push me over the line if I was trying to decide whether or not to purchase a particular cover. 'Eh whatever, it is still appreciated as something is better than nothing, right? ;)

Edit: Googled it and came up with the Sena/Kobato/Yozora cover. It's been in the rough sketch phase for about 6 months now; it was originally supposed to sell at the last My Wife event like back in October (I think), but it wasn't finished in time, and nothing has come of it since.

Pretty much everyone in this thread wants it, and we've taken to calling it "3P" despite there being a few other covers that feature three chicks on them. Sometimes we'll call it Kyounetsu 3P, but mostly we refer to it as 3P, and everyone know what we're talking about.

Is this just a sheet? There's no way in hell I'd pay 92K yen for that, let alone 40K.
But I guess since the other went for 92, a buyout at 40 is a steal.

Shit like that can get pretty crazy sometimes. There was a bunch of shitty (in my opinion) pre-filled To Love Ru pillows that were selling for as high as 200k. It's absolutely crazy, but it seems to be driven by how limited an item is; from what I read, the To Love Ru pillows were a prize from some sort of contest, so obviously the number was very limited. Not sure what the deal is with that sheet, but I'd imagine it's something similar.

It happens with dakimakura covers from popular circles, too. Especially the first few from an event, if the circle doesn't have a tendency to do web receptions at a later date:

Screencapped that right after C81; that was the last few from C81, the ones that still have a few days on them all ended up selling for over 50k (with the without glasses version selling for over 60k.) The circle sold some more at My Wife, with a new version too. The first few of the old version (all without glasses) sold in the 24-30k range, but now that they're fairly scarce again, they've been selling in the 30-45k range. The new version has been selling in the 30-50k range.

I wouldn't want to compete in that. Once a cover passes 22-25K yen I'm like "F-it, I'm out." I'll wait for another to come along. They always do. It is just a matter of time.

The washing instructions paper is much larger and detailed, it clearly states as Mastumoto spandex Lycra. Which is also a 2WT material.

Yeah, saw the SMJ account get outbid on the normal version. I'd say go for it on the 40k buyout. I don't think there are any events coming up immediately (I could be wrong) and it would be awhile before they do a web reception (if they do at all), so I only see the price going up, unfortunately.

And good on the material. I know that 2WT is spandex, but the dakimakura blog switched between calling it 2WT on the Fate cover and a few others, and Mastsumoto Spandex Lycra on others, such as Evening Call covers. Just a weird consistency issue, but I guess it's just them pasting what the circle calls the material.

It's probably the highest I paid for a daki yet. The highest I ever reach is 32k and thats because I tend to try and 2 copies if possible, but seeing how dry I am. It's going to be hard.
Upcoming February is a bad time, life's tough when you are a crazy gamer and Daki lover at the same time.

Yeah, the highest I've paid is 42.5k and I kind of regret it. I had a sample image before hand, it just didn't live up to my expectations of a $600 cover. I was extremely happy with my recent 32k Rin cover though, even if I could have bought it for 18k had Mandarake decided to sell it on the US site too.

I have high hopes for it, but there's very little way of telling. I ended up going for the ero version because it looks like the background is more detailed, but I'm still really curious about the normal version too.

February will be brutal for me as well. The Taiga is a 90x90 cushion by Argyle (back when they were called something else.)

Ah yeah, Mitsuki makes loads more sense as far as the language goes. I was just going off the name given on the folder I have with shots of her, since I know absolutely nothing about the character.

As for why I bought it, it's more due to me liking the circle and the fact that I got it at a really good price.
