I ordered a new dakimakura but I failed to notice that it said "PILLOW COVER ONLY". Now I have to wait a few weeks for the actual pillow to come in xD

It's definitely an overwhelming hobby when you first get into it; there are so many covers you want and it can be tremendously expensive to pick them up all. Even once you have a fairly nice collection, there are still tons of covers released on a regular basis that you may want. >_>
It's just even worse when you first start, because it's a mix of picking up the (usually) expensive covers you missed when you weren't into the hobby, while purchasing a steady stream of new covers while you can still get them direct, so you don't have to pay more for them later.

Ya I definitely agree with you. I do have one thing going for me though, I (almost always) want original artwork. Not quite sure if that's the best way to describe what I'm trying to say. >_>
Basically like if you see an anime character, it has to be that same art as she appears in the anime. Just like that angel beats one!

Yeah, it makes sense. I'm quite the opposite though, I don't mind the artist taking some creative turns and making the character "theirs" as long as the work they do looks good and it rubs me in the right way. Depending on how strict you are with that, you can be very limited to just what the original artists do, which would be Cospa covers and such; on the plus side, they tend to be cheaper and you very rarely need a proxy. On the negative side, while they do tend to stick with the artist's style, the overall quality is generally lessened.
If you're a bit more lax with what you want the character to look like, but would still likely them to generally follow the same style the original artist used, I'd definitely recommend circles like Marks. They tend to stick fairly close to what the character looks like. Though unless you're able to preorder their covers, they tend to be one of the more expensive circles to pick up covers for on YJA.

Yes, I'm more for the character looking like their anime/novel counterparts but I'm ok with a different look if it appeals to me like Shashin. In that regard, Marks is as close as you can get, good thing it's completely eroas well.
Now that aside, anyone can access the web page for this daki?

Wanted to take a look at the daki, but seems like it's blocking foreign IPs.>_>

Blocked for Ireland too...
While I too like them to look similar to the anime (if it was a char I liked from watching the anime.. if it's just some girl I like cos she's cute well.. she's cute so that's enough to get it for!), in general the art style used for anime is a far simpler one, to accomodate the need for animating it. While they tend to make a dakimakura cover a bit more detailed than the character would appear during anime, they are restricted in how much they can do without it not looking like the anime anymore. As such the quality of the artwork is forced to be lesser than that of the covers which are not restricted to looking like an anime character design.
As a comparison, take a look at Airi's (the red haired maid.. if you don't know) skirt here: http://www.figure.fm/post/en/33273/Dakimakura+Collection+13.html She looks completely accurate to the anime style, though her face has a bit more effort done on it than usual and she looks very cute. Now, take a look at the skirt on Serika (the pink haired first girl) here: http://www.figure.fm/post/en/33427/Dakimakura+Collection+14.html Both skirts are similar in design, having a black upper layer and a white underlining (serika's has multiple layers but that's not important :p) but the level of detail on serika's is vastly higher than that of Airi's (and similarly for the rest of the image too).
I still buy anime styled ones frequently because of my love of the characters, but other styled ones (be it eroge, or doujin circles versions of an anime char) do have superior art and are worth checking out too!

Oh you guys mean sheets? If that's the case then yeah, I have a huge-ass Little Witch sheet/blanket. And just bought a this small microfiber towel on Mandrake (what I received from DHL today). I used this as somewhat of a test with it being my first Mandrake purchase.

Small? This is more like a bath towel.>_>
Anyway, I like it but it doesn't seem to be like you, it's lacking over the top ero.^_^
Why are to Love Ru stuff always so expensive?

Price for da mousepad =40k yen
Sold out!

Because that and the previous Momo pillow were both prizes from some competition Jump Square ran, so they're relatively rare for collectors to acquire.

Yeah, but even so, it's fairly ridiculous. But I guess it really isn't any different than the average Miku cover selling for 30k+, with the Marks one fetching 70k+ if it actually starts as a bid. >_>

Yeah I noticed that as well, as I've really grown to love the series and want more To Love-Ru merchandise. I think over in Japan To Love-Ru is really popular and the merchandise is quite rare so people snap it up at any price. It's for that reason that even though the Selene dakimakura of Momo isn't that great, you know it's going to be rare afterwards and it's going to be expensive that has be actually considering it.
Yui used to be my favourite, and I actually looked for that mousepad for sometime before giving up. Although for that price I wouldn't even consider it.

Hahah! OK, so it's a bit bigger than "small." And yeah, I suppose it is about the size of a bath towel. Also, I love comment about it being a little more reserved than what I am used to posting, gave me a good laugh. ;)
And WTH!? That is one expensive mousepad. ( ;0_0)
EDIT: Added spoil to my images in the quote. Also, I cannot access the page for that daki either. Seems either it is region locked or the author messed up.

Very very shitty happenings. So w-canvas cancelled my order on the Patchy dakimakura I had spent half a year hunting around for. Shashin already knows, and so does drakanity. Though at the very least, I can get in on moejinja's latest offering, which despite being a tad disappointed in not having my order fulfilled, is the better dakimakura.
Cost exactly 12900 if ordered through yokatta:

Aw that sucks :( They didn't have it in stock afterall and the website listing was out of date?
Hmm, I was already leaning heavily to getting the red-haired waitress from moejinja and if it's going to be only that much through yokatta I am feeling even more swayed.

It's not too bad. I save money with this other dakimakura. And Shashin knows how badly I want it. He knows all too well...... *I'm not going to explain it.
Now then...next goal is to save up enough for that CranCrownBlack Meido~

Just received Mark's Sena at the My bride event.
I like the card and the envelope(I prefer this oevr the comiket version)

Seems like this version of Sena has a lighter skin tone then the one at comiket which is to my liking but I think another reason could be because this one is printed on a 2WT(First time in a while)

I kinda like her pouting face, makes her look cute.
