Yeah, I was lucky my mother sometimes sells artwork and buys things on yahoo auction Japan. I told her I was buying some "private' things XD.

Haha, nice. And I should rephrase that as "doesn't like some proxies." I guess there's an option the seller can select to protect from automated bidding, which knocks out sites like SMJ from bidding on any of their items. I'm pretty sure he's one of the sellers that does that, but I can't say for sure.

Edit: For 10k yen, that's pretty weak. I'm all for them trying to introduce 3D to dakimakura covers (there was a doujin circle one with 3D boobs a few weeks back), this seems a bit weak. With no sample shots of the actual ass (that I can see), and the fact that they're not showing the other side is pretty lame. One sided cover (as far as I can tell) for 10k? D:

Yeah, I'd wait for the sample shots of the ass. It might be good enough to justify it. Majikoi S also got another dakimakura with 3d boobs in a Dengeki Magazine.

Hmm that Urotan cover from Hobbystock is quite tempting, and I feel like I should get the reissue of the Sonico one too since I'd already be ordering from hobbystock if I get Urotan's ;

Not bad, it's fairly cool. Not sure if I'd want to buy it myself, but like the oppai cover I almost bought, it would be interesting for the novelty if nothing else.

Edit: I actually have both of those Hobby Stock covers. The Sonico I picked up from a US based retailed for like $190 (I remember scoffing at that price) and I think I picked the other up from AmiAmi but I can't be sure. It's actually one of the nicer "mass market" covers and I'd recommend it.

I wanted to get the dengeki mag for the boobs but I saw the price tag of 148 bucks here and I totally gave up on it because it's made of a lousy material plus only 1 sided.

The Urotan daki is very nice, I got the very first release which was on a material similar to what Cospa uses for their smooth knit.

BTW, has Yokkota notified you about the Carnelian daki? It seems even Mandarake has it on sale already.>_

Nope still nothing from Yokatta about it, though I have some other items ordered with them so it might of arrived in the last day or two and they didn't say since still waiting on the other things.

The Urotan one seems to be a 2way tricot this time too so that's a nice upgrade, think I'll wait and see which shops stock it first, but I'm pretty sure I'll get it.

Thinking back on it, I probably got it at auction; I wasn't actively collecting when it sold, and AmiAmi used to be a lot tamer in what adult products they'd stock. Definitely would pick it up for 2WT alone, though the Smooth Knit was probably one of the better versions of it, if I recall.

Mandarake has added a good batch of covers in the last 24 hours, including the new Carnelian cover as Zengar mentioned. There's a nice Sena up, a bunch of reasonably priced HOP/Ask cover, and the Kyounetsu fox cover that might be worth it (it's available for preorder at 12k, 16k on Mandarake... get it sooner and probably pay a bit more than you would with a proxy.) I was going to pick up the Carnelian cover but resisted and now it's sold out. Then there's a few magazine covers up for order (well, not like Dengeki, just ones that had a magazine preorder/source material.)

Hmm yeah there's a few YJA auctions for the carnelian cover up now too. It looks like it turned out quite nice from the mandarake pic alone. And that's quite a lot of new covers on mandarake, luckily none that I'm too interested though (or lucky for my wallet anyway).

There are a couple I'd consider, but for the most part wouldn't buy because of my current financial situation (like the Carnelian cover.) I am trying to figure out that blonde chick with the red/yellow tie, though. Pretty sure it's one I'd buy if I could find the sample image, but for once I'm not having my luck; damn Mandarake and their vague description. I'm fairly certain I've seen it before, but I can't remember how long ago.

Thanks for that; I'll have to check out the database, seems like it would be pretty useful for a lot of covers. Especially considering I'm so shit with names/series in general. >_> And yeah Mandarake frequently has pretty good deals on older covers; I love when they list a bunch of good covers for 6000-8000 yen and I have to restrain myself not to go crazy.

Yeah, I saw that, though I'd honestly imagine they've just forgotten about it. I may try to order it eventually, but it's a fairly low priority right now. I think the reason I had such a fascination with the blonde haired chick was because I associated her with the purple haired chick.
