Got through marriage at this point. I do not see much difference between having a person to be in love with and having a wife, for marriage is just a "governmental and/or religious approval of two(or more in some countries) people creating a family cell", which is than subject to a very few additional rights, a bit of obligations and a lot of moral expectations from population as well as now different sort of statistics can be applied to you from the position of the authorities in your region or so I see it.
