i choose plot
very good plot with nice art. I'd read it probably more than ten times(then come back reading it about once a week)
not so nice art but very good plot. I'd still read it
good art, bad plot?? hmmm.. I'll probably wait on how others would react, but you wouldn't see me jumping in blindly and reading it without preparation. but most of the time I avoid it.

I look for good art initially. It is of course the first thing that catches one's eye.
After I'm reading it for the art, I'll judge it on the story. I do prefer to be reading something I enjoy AND for it to be pretty.

Let's face it, most people read/watch hentai for the capping material. But even though that's true, one could also just watch porn and get the same effect. What set's hentai apart from porn however is the stories. Plot is the most important thing for any good hentai. Besides, what would possess someone to make a hentai without decent artwork. I mean really, tht would just be stupid. So, if someone is seriously making a good hentai, the art is a given, its the plot that makes it special, and awesome!

While I like intricate stories, the art is where it's at. If I'm more trained at reading lemon novels, then maybe... Otherwise, yeah, I see art as more important. Otherwise, why would I be here? Lol.

Oh well, to me, it always depends on how I'm feeling at the moment. Usually, I come to "enjoy the art". Sometimes, I stumble upon some golden pieces in terms of storyline. Then, I judge, if they are fappable. Usually, the best plot-based hentai manga, have so big time/page distances from each H scene, that are not fappable, even though the art can be stunning; thus, I mark them, and leave them for later, when I'm feeling like it. For some reason though, those with crappy artwork, usually are totally unreadable, so plot goes on 0 level too.
If I have to put it down and choose, I'd go with the "Hentai" side. Why? Because plot can be found in non-H manga, and some amazing stories are written on a mere "ecchi" level. But the other way around, "Hentai" cannot be found anywhere else than its own category. Thus, I wouldn't miss on what is unique ( the fappability ) to gain something that I can find elsewhere ( the plot ).

Well if it's a manga, i'd go plot. if it's actually watching it, i'd go art. but i like it when the plot and art are both good, that's what i say. If you want a good manga with good art and plot, read Koe de Oshigoto

I personally think that the art doesn't really matter when the plot is some kind of 3 year old writing... but if i had to choose, i'd pick both
