For me it's simply about the Art, as I'm pretty picky, I don't find treasures often, but if I do I choose them over live porn, however I can't use the same material every time so I usually go back to porn until I find another treasure lol

On a grand scale yes. I like live-action porn, but real humans are imperfect and there are few porn actors I actually like. If the general manga style appeals to you, it it's easier to find characters that you like to watch, since they are hand crafted. Adding to this of course the fantasy factor. Live-action porn gets especially bad when it tries supernatural topics, due budget. But hentai doujinshi? It's not a far leap from two people humping each other in a truck to fucking on dragons over the battlefield of Waterloo.

Also: storylines. Live-action porn has a setting at best most of the time, that limits it very much.

IRL porno will always be preferable to hentai anime, but a lot of the time hentai manga will be preferable to regular porn. Sometimes doujinshi can win out, but that's pretty rare.
