I don't make a difference between male or female.
I'm always shy if talking to a crowd - also internet crowd - so I'm happy if I get a nice respond, I doesn't matter from who. Also I always try to be nice to everybody, unless it's a sexist idiot ù u

I hate pretty much everyone, so their gender is the last thing that comes to mind. awww you could feel the love radiating from that sentence :3. lol
If someone says online they're female i will give them the benifit of the doubt and take their word for it. I'm naturally nicer to women so i'll subconciously act nicer to them, and am more willing to help.

NO, I don't thing so and I think this is not the point of all that forum thing. We are here like individuals first and after that like male or female and so on. I think in the real live the boy must be cavalier and I'm absolutely agree with that we-women are the weak gender and the male must be strong and must defend the female. This is my understanding about this, this is gentlemanly. And I-like a girl, really appreciate that in the real life.
But like I said here we are not girls and boys we are just people who have common interests so let's talk like such without let the gender to affect us

I don't. If i see a idiot online i will call them out on there stupidity regardless of there genderPretty much this. Although it is more common for me to find a girl annoying than guys (bitching and etc, guys don't do that like they do), but that has nothing to do with gender. This is the same in real life too.

Well duh. Of course i talk more condescending to women online because they're inferior and can't understand my advance brain neurology rhythmatics and words like superannuation and microbiological-systems.

No. unless they are really obnoxious about it spurting they are female to get attention. That's when I start to black knight.

From my experience through chats online, it's hard to distinguish whether a user is a boy or girl from just judging from their chatting. When it comes to hiding their gender, Girls are better at hiding their gender compared to Boys. You won't know if she's a girl without telling you first. Believe or not some guys like to RP on chats as girls, but in some aspects they fail to deliver.

If you're talking about a guy pretending to be a girl I'd still black knight.

I hope you know what I mean by black knight.
Anyways back on topic I still talk to females openly if I have something to say I say it.

Of course the gender affects how I behave. If I pretend to be a girl, I also behave like a girl. Sometimes I also pretend to be a 13 year old boy looking for Gay sex, so I wouldn't say that gender is the only thing you need to take into account when you are online.
So clearly "Yes". I don't understand why so many people voted "No", and just want to tell you that you will have a hard time flirting with older men if you don't know how to act like a girl. What does "Depends if she has proof." mean? Who is "she"?

Truthfully? Yes, I am more lenient on people who show more 'feminine' traits than towards masculine ones. This was based on how I was raised. I was raised mostly by strong and caring women so I hold them in high regard. Granted, I don't really berate people online regardless but if I did they would be those who are showing more masculine traits as opposed to feminine ones.
So does their actual gender affect how I act? No, but do the traits they portray? Yes.

I don't like getting treated different because i'm female, so usually in games for example i try not to mention my gender though i won't lie if get asked.
As for for fakku or forums in general, most time i'm mentioning my gender cause it somewhat matters. But if its not neccessary for the questions/answers i just keep it for myself.
I think 'just don't be an idiot' is a good answer in this poll.

The whole reason I loved doing online forums was because I could be myself regardless of how I looked or my gender. I am honest about being a woman, but I don't tell people to gain any special treatment from them, it's just me being honest. I do think it can affect how people view you to a degree, but it is very small and no matter how a person is if they are annoying or nasty you wouldn't want to talk to them for any reason.
Use to make me laugh when people would ask me for "proof" that I was a woman since there's always that suspicion a person isn't the gender they say they are, but to me who the fuck cares? I just like having fun and talking with good people, the rest is irrelevant to me.
So basically for me personally gender never influenced how I acted. I can type a bit feminine at times, but that is because I am a woman and it comes out naturally.
