Well, it's not a bad start ^^ now, how about uploading some others of your drawings so we could see more?
And as a little suggestion, try using a different color for the lines, is a bit hard to appreciate it like that.

errr meaning only the eye's and little bit of the hair looks fine and everything else looks like crap therefore looks quite ugly.
edit: other art that's up r looking alright.

ok, now we can say something. The first advice I can give you, create an original character (or pick an already existing character, but I think originals are always best) and work around it. If from the start, before having developed an own drawing style yo keep making different characters trying to adopt different styles, in the end you'll just have a bizarre irregular style and it will take a lot to fix it.
Draw him/her as much as you can. By doing so, you'll be
1. developing an own style
2. noticing your mistakes because you'll know what's wrong since you know how the character should look.
That's for starters. Latter, when your hand is used to draw, learn about anatomy, by now do not try to learn complicated perspectives or action/dynamic poses. Since it will be hard, you might get discouraged. Let's go one step at time, oke?

Ok, now we are talking! looks way better. Now, there are some issues here and there with proportions and some twisted parts that shouldn't be that twisted, but is much better than the average beginner's work.
Is she your OC?

I was about to reply asking if you could make a fully worked piece (and not just a sketch) or a coloured one, but didn't because I thought it sounded like I was just bagging on you.
Now, about the drawing itself, it looks pretty good. The choice of colours and the colouring itself are very nice. Just keep practicing your anatomy and you will see big improvements soon. Oh, and don't forget to play attention to the clothing. Try to look up reference pictures to see how the cloth lays over the body and try to reproduce it yourself in your drawings.
I'll keep checking your thread for updates, keep em coming.
