Dusting off my sculpting skills.

Hello everyone. I thought I'd share a small work I'm doing right now.

I'm currently making some sculpting work, using my sculpting skills from the old days where I played warhammer.
Among the works there is making stuff from scratch, or using a bootleg figure as a base.

Today's work is a work in progress of a Bust of the Rogue Titan from Attack on Titan.






Aside from the hairs, the bust has still no base and the torso part is still in work.
It's not 100% accurate but I'm trying to get it close.
You may notice I'm cheating by putting plastic pieces into the frame, I'm doing this because I'm consuming a lot of material on that sculpt so I must be greedy and try to manage my stocks of resin carefully, especially because I have something else on the work table.

Before I'm being asked, I don't do commissions. I'm sorry. I will always give one of my works to someone out of a whim, and not on demand.

Not gonna lie, that is some mad skills you've got there OP. It's immediately recognizable and that's what I call a good piece of work (I'm no artist though sadly).

Please do give us an update when you're finished :)

Awesome. All of it is resin?

Almost.
Aside from plastic pieces inside the frame, the head is based on a skull made of... well I don't know but it's a bit too heavy to be resin, despite having the same texture.
So far that's the only part that still shows up in the sculpture, it will progressively disappear under the hairs.
I could have made the face from scratch, but it would have been extremely long. And it would have left me with a fuck ugly skull with a sawed off jaw. Considering even that skull was asymmetrical, I guess the result could have been the same.

Oh and other thing that shows up, I wanted to not fuck up the eyes so I used two plastic pearls that I glued into the skull's sockets trying to get them symmetrical.

And Yes I will post pictures of it when the sculpt is finished and when it's painted.
