Finished! well that was really fun, and I learned quite a bit from this.
It's a girl, also for now it's finished, but my original concept had long hair coming out of the armor. I might draw the hair later if I get the chance.

After making most of the head i noticed i forgot something major... what da hell I'm gonna do with her? O.o I gotta find a theme or something! Lil sorceress, mech-girl, berserker warrioress in need of blood?.. gnaaaaaaaaaa

Happened across two magazines about digital 2D art. "Art Scene International" and "ImagineFX". Check those out if you happen by them in your bookstore.
I already subscribe to 3D World, which is by the same company that puts out ImagineFX. Check out 3D World if you have an interest in all things 3D. (ImagineFX and 3D World both come with cd-rom which include resources and tutorials. Sometimes it comes with free software as well.) I really recommend these.

I've continued my side project, the one where i make an item for each anime i've watched. So, can anyone guess the lastest? It's the only item i found for that show so i hope some find it!

Do you have any tips for coloring/ blending?hmm if u have a tablet, just make use of the sensitivity to blend in the colors. and don't worry if the colors u picked din match well with the initial color that u had. since u can always adjust them with the color adjustment options (saturation, color balance etc) on photoshop. just make sure u're on a different layer while doing it.
here's the semi finished version. i can't continue on it anymore since i accidentally overwritten over the work psd file. sadly so im stuck with this resized version.

It's digital, sketched in Sketchbook Pro, and Colored in Photoshop. Ugh haven't done anything in a while, so I'll try to post something up tonight after a party I'm going to.

It's been like 9 pages since I posted something and all I have is an incomplete sketch of Rito Yuuki. I originally meant to return and finish it, but I just feel bad about it. Maybe I'll try again next time I sketch.
