My definition seems really distorted compared to some. But a quick sketch will probably be from 20-40 minutes. A quick paint would be around an hour or two. Also really nice sketch you got there, wish I could even get close to that...

And yea im kinda the same as you, i see these people calling there work quick paints/sketches and there amazing O____O
Like stuff ive spent hours trying to do and they get it done in under an hour, its crazy.
And how do people do those "quick" landscape paintings, immense! 1hr speed paints gaaah!!

I'm going to start trying to do Backgrounds and such, here's my first try at it. Man I learned a lot from painting that, and I still got more to learn.

I decided to try making a brush that can give it a bit of texture to it...it failed lol.

Check out idrawgirls.com, he has a lot of good tutorials and most of them are real time videos (I think he records them, then plays them in real time while commenting on it).

Yea it could be like that i spose, i thought about it, but didnt want to show it liek that.
I guess if i drew it with the elbow showing more on the left side and less definition of the bicep then i woulda gotten away with it.

Argh only now I was able to tell exactly what is wrong. It's the elbow. The forearm is like this / when it should be more like this \. At least it's what I think. ^^' Anyways, it's an awesome drawing, and I'll be waiting for the next one.
