What they say is the last Spot for Godzilla was shown on Wondercon during Gareth Edwards' panel. It's what we've all be waiting for folks, the money shot of Godzilla himself!


EDIT: Just when you thought things couldn't get any better, the trailer they released in Asia just popped up on youtube today. Here it is.

This looks like it's going to be epic stuff. I'll definitely watch it.

It looked interesting with the first trailers.


Then that trailer with the second monster and all the "let them fight" business
came into my consciousness and my hype boner shot into the heavens, now I walk funny until the 16th.



It just needs to have one stupid hat/helmet and it'll be perfect for me. Fingers crossed =)

I just saw it. It was pretty damn fantastic. I had a few complaints, but most of them were overshadowed by the awe the movie inspired in me.

Definitely worth going to see. Might not be worth the extra for 3D, then again I don't really notice it unless it's really blatant. It teases the shit out of you with monster battles, but it all pays off. Definitely would like to see it succeed enough to get another one made.

Also no stupid hat/helmet, but still a good movie.

Hey! they follow the 1954 formula, where Gojira has little screen time till you get to see him in the end.

Dude, for future Godzilla sequel.... TOHO should give rights to Edwards to use one of there monsters! Like.... KING GHIDORA OR BIOLENTE!!!

I know but it's such a cheeky thing to do. They get you hyped up for a battle and then it cuts to people doing things lol. Some other Toho monsters would be sweet in sequels.

It was good. Not my favourite Godzilla film (by a long way), but I liked it.
It was definitely better then the last American Godzilla film.

What is your favorite?

I'm torn between 'Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah : Giant Monsters All-Out Attack' and 'Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla' (I still have that one on a VHS recording from the late 90's).

I think I'd say the former is the better film, but I enjoy the nostalgia of the latter.

It was pretty good, I definitely enjoyed it more than some of the other Godzilla movies. I wish they had put more monster battles in instead of focusing on the human characters so much but that's just a small gripe of mine rather than an actual fault of the movie. Overall: I enjoyed it and would recommend people to go watch it if they haven't!

Same here, Mechagodzilla was such a cool idea and amazing stuff.

Saw the new one, I loved it! Definitely faithful to the original stuff, it was really good I thought.

It was faithful, but I wasn't keen on the design of the M.U.T.O.s. Their angles and color made them look kind of futuristic, and I didn't like it (granted, mechagodzilla is futuristic too, but he's futuristic in a different way). It just didn't give the same sense of fear as monsters like Hedorah, Biollante, or Destroyah.

Some people compared it to the Cloverfield monster design, which... I can't really disagree with.
