Have you ever been mistaken for a lesbian?

When I was dating a girl, sure, and I didn't even correct people when they assumed I was a lesbian (I'm bi). Then when my lovely oboist broke up with me (*sobs*) our mutual friends who assumed I was strictly a carpet muncher went "WHOA OMGWTFBBQ WHY DOES YOUR SO HAVE A COCK" when I started dating a guy.

Well I'm a girl, so... it's different. And I'm bi, but I rarely rarely go for girls.

There was this instance where a girl in our group of friends added both me and a male friend of ours on msn at the same time... and then got us mixed up

So she was talking to him often thinking it was me, and telling him.. things she would've told a girl friend but not a guy? Nothing serious but yeah.

Cue him crushing on her and telling her compliments and stuff.. and her thinking it's me and that I'm a lesbian flirting with her!

It took her like.. weeks to find out? a long while anyway

the funny part is nobody told me about that until like... almost a year later.

So yeah, I guess then she figured out since it WASN'T me and I had a boyfriend, I wasn't a lesbian but there; someone thought I was a lesbian for like a few weeks.

This topic reminds me of an episode of King of Queens. Where Patton Oswald's character goes to a bar and he's mistaken for a lesbian...yeah...
