English and Japanese. I'm currently learning how to read and write hiragana. It's surprisingly easy! There's no way I'll ever learn kanji though. That's way too difficult.

I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I was in the process of learning Japanese, but I kind of gave up on that. At least I'll give up on it for now.
Actually, I should say was fluent in Spanish. I haven't spoken a word in forever that I'm probably not very quick or precise anymore. Oh well, I feel like I wasted many years of my life learning a useless language anyway.

tagalogWhere is it spoken? Never heard of it before.
Tagalog is a language in the Phillipines that is pretty much the foundation for Filipino, the national language. Filipino is a creole language of primarily Tagalog and Spanish, but with some other influences, such as English.

Only English... sucks doesn't it? I've been trying to get some time to learn Japanese in college but I haven't had the time since I need to complete my other courses.

It always helps to be a linguist when filling out career resumes, but it's not a big deal. English and Mandarin are the languages of the future, there is going to be less and less reason to know any other languages. Know English and know an Asiatic language and you are good to go.

Well, my degree is Civil Engineering and those normally are only math and numbers. Not much on them with words. Only if I get a Chinese client maybe.

I can speak and read Finnish and English pretty well, Russian and Swedish not so well, even that I have studied them.

I speak and write mainly in English. Although Malay is my mother tongue I am not very good at it as I basically learnt Mandarin instead while growing up. Am planning to learn Japanese, though not anytime soon...
