Hard to say a favorite but katawa shoujo, Crescendo, and Kono Oozoaa Ni Tsubasa Wo Hirogete(If My Heart Had wings) take the top spots. Though on Kono some parts simply were translated badly but the fan resoration patch helps alot.

My 2 all time favorites are Katawa Shoujo and Monster Girl Quest.
Unfortunately they got lost in my old computer and I haven't been able to get them back u.u

hmm.. I haven't really "played" a whole lot of visual novels. I guess the only visual novel I played from start to finish and probably put over 200 game hours is Kamidori Alchemy Meister. I like my novels with actual gameplay. My opinion on this game is that only Yuela's route is interesting. I wanna play La Dea of Libra, but the translation is done by a machine and its very offputing to read a badly translated novel.
I guess if you know of any VNs with good amount of gameplay I'm open to suggestions :)
