I have so many in my multiple 1TB harddrives, probably over 50+ translated and untranslated Visual Novels...If you ask me for recommendations you'd get probably multiple pages worth of text...I Absolutely love Visual Novels and I hope other people can enjoy it as well.
I've even collected some quotes from Visual Novels which used to be in my sig until sadpanda went down.
Heck, I can't bring myself to pick favourites, but one of those that sticks with my memory for a really long time would be Ever17. No H content, but an amazing story.
Can you please suggest some translated novels like say katawa Shoujo or any other as long as its in a guy's perspective and doesnt contain any freaky shit
I wouldn't want to clog up this thread with my recommendations, so do send me a PM and I'll give you a ton of recommendations...

That aside, Juniper's Knooot. Do you have any idea if there'll be a sequel? I mean, I like the way it ended, even if Spoiler:
Closest thing to a sequel would be the Animation.

I've played quite alot but never really got into it, ending most VNs halfway
I just get bored really easily I think and the pacing of most VNs are pretty similar to a book
Unless of course, there's gameplay or if it's a nukige

I've played lots of VNs, but MuvLuv Alternative and Fate are my favorites.
True Love for style points.

There should have been a "I've lost count" option. Yeah, since I haven't yet learned japanese I always look forward to new translations. My fav is probably spirit of the eternity sword, kamidori, or fate/ in the fantasy genre. And grisaia,g-senjou no maou, or steins gate in the more modern genre.

I think I probably read 6 or more in the first year I was introduced to Visual Novels. They really hooked me in. I've slowed down considerably since then but I still read one or two a year depending on the length of the ones that get translated.
Yume Miru Kusuri, Sagara-sanchi no Etsuraku Life, and Saya no Uta were my first, that much I remember. A good start with the a mix of drama, comedy, and horror respectively.
In total I've probably played over 30 and completed a majority of those. Read most of the big ones that have been translated in the past few years as well as some of the more niche ones. I mostly stick to translated ones but I have brute forced my way through a couple smaller ones that interested me but I figured wouldn't be translated.

I've played a decent amount, though there's still a ton I want to play. Some of my favourites are G-senjou no maou, Sharin no kuni, Fate/ stay night, and Comyu. ^_^
