how to mend a broken heart

Welp I've been having constant issues with my gf. And well after our latest argument I tried apologizing but she kind of just ignored it and when I checked her kik name and picture it didn't do much to reassure me. The best way I can describe it was a pic of an anime girl with her hands on her bed looking back with her panties down to her knees with her features showing to the viewer, and to top it off her next to her name it said owned. So I can't help but feel crushed right now. Can anyone offer any tips to cheering oneself up?

I find that keeping yourself busy with things such as work, school, and hobbies, helps with the pain for the first week or so. Keeping busy helps me get my mind off of the source of the pain so that I am not focusing on it too much.
Longer term, I don't really have any advice, the pain goes away (or mostly so) after a while, but I don't know any way to help with that process. Hopefully someone else on this board can help with that.

I agree, just to try to keep yourself busy. The more you do, the less time you have to think about your ex.

I recently went through a breakup myself. Biggest thing that's helped me is just to spend time with friends and people I care about (either online or in real-life); that kept me from dwelling too much on it. It can suck, but take it a day at a time. Like those before me have already said: occupying your time with things that you do on a regular basis (work, school, hobbies, etc.) can really help as well.
Find joy in the happiness of your friends. Go for a walk. Make someone laugh. Eat something tasty. Play a game.

As other's have said, keep busy and find people to spend time with. Take some down time for yourself when you need to get through the rougher of the emotions, eventually it will get better.

I can just agree with the others, think of it as an opportunity to focuw on yourself more.
But i also wouldnt overreact about the picture. Its an anime and not her, i'm using a lot of very sexy avatars on kik but thats my desirers not the real life
I'm still true to my bf and maybe she is just provocating too.
