Straight up and simple, if you had a million dollars, what would you do? Try to refrain from the "invest in stocks or bonds to get more money" kinds of answers please, though starting companies is fine, but explain what.

Id buy a nice car, a nice house, A real, non repro STG-44, invest some, maybe start a business, then live the good life from there.

Serious answer: Slap it into a retirement fund, that's 14 years worth if you spend $70k a year.

More fun answer: Buy this Ritter Royal Flora Aurum bass for ~$250k, then build a house, pay to go to college for something more interesting than I currently am, probably a decent car, then I dunno, probably try and work out a lifetime ticket to Flyers' and Phillies home games.

I'd probably chuck about $250k into shares, to increase it. Chuck about $500k into rental properties, for steady income. And then for the last $250k; mod some cars, pay off some bills, buy some more cars and mod them up, and then put a downpayment on a nice house. ezpz

-Own a business to further my funds
-Buy a Ferrari 458 and send it to Liberty Walk Performance in Japan to modify it
-Give a good chunk of it to my parents
-Wop
-Own nice house

Have it all in physical cash and then burn it.

That's so much money I don't even know.
I mean, it's not like I'll ever get that much, so why think about it at all ?

Fuck creativity. First thing I do is pay off debts.

Second is to get a new PC and heavy ass notebook.

First and foremost, I'd buy a house nothing to big though. Then I'd put the rest away in case I ever travel anywhere.

By the way I wouldn't quit my job like most people would, I'd still work to have another source of income

-Pay for certain friends' tuitions, housing and other needs
-Get a lot of consoles and games
-If I have more remaining, capital for my chain of wing restaurants

I'd go crazy with 100k just buying whatever my heart desires and I'd invest the other 900k to make more money and become a multimillionaire and live the good life.

-pay off all my debts and my family's
-buy a franchise
-video games. lots of it
-buy a really good computer to use as a server

I can't realistically think of anything else. If it was unlimited money, then its a different story.

1 million is way to small amount of money to fulfill my dreams so my life would not change a bit.
I would invest 100k in gold / silver / diamonds and keep em in my secret stash.
250k in stocks or some other form of investment.
about 400k in land/ buildings near growing cities.
50k i would keep on bank.
On rest of money i would help people close to me.

However that is not what i would want, lets say i win 50 million euros.
I would get big ass mansion whit some hentai maids and all other dark hentai stuff ;D but 1 mill is not enough for this.

Well, for me, there's a bunch of stuff I would do. First, I would probably gloat in it, taking a bath in money or something.
