I think this has to be my favrioute one compared to all the rest, the colours are great and she's so cute XO
Also love your art! will deffently keep an eye on this page ^^
(also you got a deviantart?)
[color=#993300]Ok, time to catch up on replies, nope I don't have a deviantart, I keep myself underwraps ever since I started getting a lot of complaints (of plagiarism) and requests (for commissions) due to the fact that I know multiple styles. So I go under many names and usually under friends' names as well.
[color=#993300]ANYWAYS, looks like this post made another page, COMPLETELY obscuring the new drawing I made on the bottom of the 2nd page, GO FIND IT!

That's a shame, I'd love to see more of your work! That's an interesting idea of taking a particular image and tracing it to learn another artists' style. In all my years, I never really thought to do it that way. I usually just tried to eyeball a picture for reference or just slap together bits I liked from various styles.

Do you take requests?[color=#993300]Not anymore, I can't draw very much anymore because I lost my tablet to draw with. Not to mention the lack of time. Many apologies

[color=#993300]It eventually evolved into the later situation, though I still have to file my pictures under other artists' names for the sake of simplicity. I got the idea from my art teacher during my junior high/middle school years when we were trying to mimic Andy Warhol. I carried the idea ever since

[color=#993300]Well I can't really show one right now since the one I made is for a friend's birthday present, but I've begun working on animating my drawings as well, mainly writing text animations and other layering things.
In the mean time, here's one by me and (Slaughter) Z

Well allow me to ask for a bit of help really. As of late, I've been looking into making CG models. Not like those in MMD (Miku Miku Dance) which have somewhat subpar quality (in terms of texture. Rather something on the scale of a video like this:
Albeit with tweaks in shading as well.
Granted this might take quite a while, but just a venture I see going to.
AAAnyways, I was wondering if anyone round here has any experience with the sort of work and can provide tips. I was planning on first going on to working with Autodesk MudBox (which brings another question of what sort of laptop I ought to have for this, tips appreciated for this too) but I have a feeling that it might be to advanced? Well I guess I'll see.
Schedule:
1. Nagato (Kantai Collection)
2. Aurora E Juutilainen (Strike Witches)
3. TBA/Request

Mudbox, from what I can tell, is very much like Zbrush. It's a scultping tool, you could start from scratch or bring in a model and sculpt in details. (I would suggest learning to model and rig with Maya and texturing/details with Mudbox or Zbrush *or photoshop if you're already familiar it*.)
You'll probably want to learn the basic controls of the program first though.
Digital Tutors is a great website to use if you're willing to spend some money on training.
As for the laptop question, they have the a list of recommended specs on their site for each program.

FYI, rendering out your model/picture can be very labor intensive depending on how detailed everything is. Your computer/laptop should be rendering and nothing else while doing so. (You'll definitely want a multicore cpu, at the very least 8gb ram(64bit os), and a decent gpu.)

Granted, but one of my biggest questions is that if I were to stick with a gaming GPU ie 970m, would I have the ability to do the same things as if I were to get a workstation GPU such as the Quadro series. I understand workstation GPUs are preferred, but could I still be fine without it?

I have a laptop with 8GB RAM (HP Pavilion). I have mudbox, Zbrush, Maya and UE4 to mention a few and it handles everything just fine. Rendering is bit slower (for example, if using Arnold renderer) but it works well for a laptop.
Youtube will be your best friend here (if you dont wanna use the tutors website). You can find basics and more on it. Definitely learn to use maya for rigging and modellig part of it but not just that, it's a great combination with Zbrush. I've never used Mudbox for sculpting but I liked it for texturing .

Are you using a discrete graphics card? If so which?

I'm not sure what that means, but this is what came up for my graphics card info:
