Image URL link from API becomse invalid
0
When I call the API for an url image link, no https: gets added and therefore makes the link invalid.
Example:
Parsed image link.
How it SHOULD be:
https://t.fakku.net/images/manga/t/[Itou_Ei]_Original_Work_-_The_Secret_Ingredient_is_Love/thumbs/001.thumb.jpg
How it IS
//t.fakku.net/images/manga/t/[Itou_Ei]_Original_Work_-_The_Secret_Ingredient_is_Love/thumbs/001.thumb.jpg
Its not really hard to add https://
in front of the string url before using it, but since I got the link from the API I kinda expected the link to be usable from the start after parsing the JSON data.

It seems to add it on by its self. But I'm not sure how it would act out side the browser. So I don't see how adding https: would hurt anything.

This is actually not invalid. It is a known convention among web developers. Leaving the protocol out will automatically use that of which the page uses. This makes it easier when serving pages from both https, http, or any other protocol.
