Hehe, that's not so much the problem as the people who become stalker on you. Or at least overly friendly in a way that rubs you the wrong way.

Seems you know the people well here. >_>
As for internet relationships:
I may joke around but I just do it for laughs really. I doubt it works out since the major thing about relationship is trust and over the internet, I just don't see that...

...and you couldn't tell that over the internet? Normally u notice stuff like that when the have really shallow comments and talk about how Naruto is so awesome cause they caught it on Cartoon Network last night.Boring girls suck btw, i noticed that you know XD
We had a lot to talk about before we actually met, then she didn't say anything, at all. I couldn't even get her to tell me what kind of food she wanted to eat that night.

Strictly internet relationships can be fun in a fling sort of way- the casual affair you remember fondly but not too well. As a basis for a solid relationship, however, it's improbable but not impossible.

As far as internet relationships go...I'd have to say they generally don't work. I've seen people try and fail a few times. I likely only has a chance of success if the people involved intend to quickly make it a rl relationship.i agree. well for me at least. 8)

There is a huge difference, online I'm quite competent at conversing and making logical arguments, in the real world when I'm dealing with the type of people I need that competence with, my brain tends to lock up and make me say, and sometimes do, stupid things. Fortunately I don't have to deal with that too often, only on the weekends, when I go to get out of the house and play games. You would think that leaving the house to play games would be relaxing, not so much when dealing with these folk.

ugh, games arn't supposed to be stressful...
now that i think about it though, im a lot more serious offline...i think it's cause I don't have a flamethrower, which I OBVIOUSLY need. Now I get to go think...thanx a lot Kais >_<

The games themselves wouldn't be so bad if I were dealing with people who liked me more, however I didn't realize I was doing a whole slew of things wrong in the way I acted and I'm still paying for it, despite the fact that I can and did literally change my behavior overnight.
The anonymity and safety of the intarwubs is amazing and you don't realize how impressive it is until you pay attention, people you talk to online are typically nothing like that when you meet them in real life. Most people simply turn into assholes who can't argue a point very well, because despite the safety of the computer, they are still dumb. Which is probably my misanthropy or arrogance talking...maybe it is my belief that most humans simply are idiots no getting around it. I'm not sure. I'm not a psychologist, even though I can fake that well enough to get by.

Yes, a computer screen is definitely a shield between you and everyone else here. I'd like to believe that everyone I talk to here is as sincere as they let on, so I do, lol. Naive as it may be, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt...
Well, as articulate as you are not in real life, lol, I'm sure you're at least a good guy and in reality, that's all that matters (or should).

I can be a good guy, but sometimes I'm a jerk, it depends on who I'm talking to and my mood, you can however rely on me to be blunt and honest to a fault. The subject at hand also matters.

Internet relations work as far as a base for a RL relation, i think that may be the general concensus.

I actually meant the subject being discussed can affect my attitude.
The internet serves to gather people together, to make those incredible distances smaller. Which also increases the odds, ever so slightly, of finding, hypothetically speaking, "the one", or at least someone compatible. The internet is also really fast which makes it so you can find a compatible person faster, but like normal relationships, they are hit and miss.

I agree, the internet is wonderful ^_^ it makes things that could normally never be fathomed a reality.
