Is there any student council on your country

well our school had a government thing but it never had the power over most of the school as our grand old prefect ran the strings, and he's right below the principal who was also under the direct route of the school director.

i was part of the discipline section, specifically among the five who were the elite guard escort of the school board.

I'm from Britain and there was at certain schools my primary school had one but there was no vote.

My 2nd Secondary School did as well but this time there was a vote though it was corrupt.

The head boy/girl got in with out a vote and was normally picked from who was the next person to leave 1st that term but when it was my & my friends turn to be the head boy the head master made his daughter head girl instead.

There was normally 5 seats available the head masters daughter always got in despite the fact that every one said they weren't voting for her so statistically it was impossible for her to get a seat.

I got in twice but soon realized we had no say the head masters wife would always over turn pretty much any thing we had decided to do.

I failed to get in again after my 1st 2 times. The for-coming years no one ever did any of the things they promised and made no changes probably because of the head masters wife but any changes I made stayed & I hear they are still in place.

I dont think so besides everyone in my country seems to be a fucking manager of something anyway! (The UK = Too many cooks...)
