Is your music taste reflected in your sense of fashion?

Just like the topic says. I'm wondering about this because people would say I dress quite "rock chic" although I hate it when they define it like that as I don't listen to rock or metal (the closest I get to them are the GazettE and Linkin Park) and I don't wear band t-shirts because I don't listen to them - I would really feel awks if someone were to come up to me and start discussing rock music. I also love hip-hop style clothing like Bape and trainers but I don't really listen to hip-hop/rap anymore either (I used to love it when I was around 15-16, now I'm just in my Electro phase and I just dress however the hell I want (apparently leaning towards "rock chic"). Oh I'm a girl btw if you haven't noticed.
I just thought about it now but the only music I love that get closest to my "rock chic" style that I wear is Justice (LOVE!!) but otherwise, nothing else at all. The styles I love are goth, romantic, All Saints as well as just chilled out (dont give a s@*% wear) and super duper girly clothes lol!! And k-pop does not float my boat (I love j-music though I only know of Bonnie Pink and Tommy February)
Your turn!! (and I think this is the right section ne? It's to do with music)

I doubt it, but seeing how I listen to a fairly wide spectra of music and wear, to be honest, pretty plain clothing I'll just assume that some of what I wear "fit" some of the music that I listen to.

I don't think my fashion reflects my music preferences. I could listen to electronic all day long and never get tired of it.
but my fashion sense is... I don't know, I try not to buy shirts with logos on them, and I occasionally buy something with some class (I.E. I have a pair of dress shoes, dress pants, etc.).

No.
I listen to no particular genre of music. I may listen to folk, J-pop, techno, metal, bachata, rap, ska etc., but it does not reflect on the way I dress.

I prefer various types of metal (Groove, Melodic, the new "Metalstep" and few others I think), screamo, orchestra, electronic and some other stuff. People have said I look like a Japanese rock star and I don't dress that way on purpose so I my tastes sort of "bleed out". But then again some people were surprised by my musical taste because I sometimes uses large headphones and large headphones make them think I only listen to various electronic genres.

I am a metalhead who shaves his head (because clippers = free haircut) and likes to wear bright colors that stand out.
Basically.... no.

Listening to this while reading this thread made me laugh a bit.
Nope, there's no way anyone could guess what kind of music I listen to from my clothes. I dress quite normally.

Well, I listen mainly to many kinds of metal, but I rarely use black or dark color shirts.
And I don't have the usual metalhead attire either.
I dress surprisingly casual (according to my friends at least) for someone who likes metal so much.

I listen to an assortment of music, and wear mostly black clothing, but my work attire is all black so I just wear mostly black clothing. I wear causal clothing and have a couple metal t-shirts. In case you're confused as to what I'm saying, my clothing isn't associated to the music I listen to.
Example: I'm wearing an Iron Maiden shirt while listening to Dash Berlin.

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
No. I usually listen to Technical Death Metal, Melodeath, Industrial Metal, etc. But I keep my hair very short, buzzed down to a '2' on the hair clipper scale, and just wear shorts and a t-shirt 95% of the time. No beard or long hair here. Hell, I don't even own any of the band logo shirts at all.

How come so many people who are into anime/manga/japanese crap are metal fans?? or is it the other way around? Lots of metal fans into Jap stuff? Huh?? and a lot of white kids I know in the UK who are into these stuff are either goths and those who play loads of games... is there a trend here? As for asian kids like me, anime is pretty normal but the more hardcore jap lover ones are rock/metal fans too!! like v-kei and stuff, please explain to me...

That's just my opinion though.

Well I would wear band t-shirts every day if I could originals where I live.
And no it doesn't really reflect in my sense of fashion because
The rocker chic kinda of clothes don't fit me, I'm shorter than the average. So I'll have to get them altered and that's way too much of a hassle. And I suck at shopping.
And I like GazettE too :D
