Japanese Trading Card Games - Do You Collect and/or Play?

I played and still play magic the gathering. I find it to be very enjoyable mostly cause all my friends play as well. Some say its difficult to understand and expensive but it depends on what format you play in. The core rules are, at least to me, easy to understand it's when you start playing in tournaments that it gets more difficult. Anyways I remember back 5 years my friends got me into it and it's been a blast playing it ever since. anyone who likes card games should definitely try it out.

I play Yu-gi-oh. The game finally got rid of priority. I think it is gonna be much better without it. I would like to try Chaos-TCG but probably only for collecting xD

I use to enjoy playing a Children's Card Game, but it seems others my age no longer enjoy playing a Children's Card Game, even on motorcycles.

Played and collected Yu Gi Oh TCG for a very long time, then bought a plastic folder and put all my cards in it.

458 of them. Lots of doubles and triples of course. I counted when I put them in. I lost many. I sometimes browse them, filled with nostalgia.

Yu-Gi-Oh, though I'm a budget player, some cards are too damn expensive =_= .

I play and collect Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. =D I have a few friends who also like playing. Some of them will actually spend hundreds of dollars just to get certain cards. I, however, am pretty cheap, so I normally just get starter decks and just go from there.

i used to collect yugioh cards, i don't remember where i left them though

Used to collect WS and Pokemon but good cards are expensive so stopped already. But still have my collection.

I'm surprised Magic isn't a choice.

I currently collect Yu-gi-oh but took a break from Naruto and Pokemon because I couldn't find anyone around who use them and thinking of getting into MTG but Yu-gi-oh is and always been my main game.

Played Yu-Gi-Oh when I was a kid but then as time goes so did the fun... Too much Cards that might bite-you-in-the-butt because of some opponent's secret card you no nothing of, pretty much changed everything and made you rely on effects and traps not in the BadA** Monster you have played out... So I haven't dueled in a long while... -_-

But still I can get enough of some of those Awesome Illustrations of Machine and Warrior-Types so I just collect them now...

I don't really collect Yu-Gi-Oh anymore but I still play it every now and then. I have an odd knack for TCG, and have a hard time finding people who I don't demolish in a turn or two. I also play MTG, but I'm not nearly as good at it as I am Yu-Gi-Oh.
