Japanese Trading Card Games - Do You Collect and/or Play?
Which Japanese Trading Card Game Do You Play and/or Collect?

Yugioh is boring now. It's a money game now in where if you don't have the right cards you can't play. I play all those card games but I gotta say, Magic the Gathering is still the best BUT Lycee and all Bushiroad games [Weiss, Vanguard, Chaos etc...] are pretty damn fun. I play the majority on the list. In Australia Bushiroad games are quite big especially in Melbourne!

Some of these polls should have a "None" option along with "Other" =/
So yeah, I won't vote, because the answer is none.

yugioh. I put together strong decks and traveled to different areas looking for duels. I am pretty good at making decks. currently i am off duty because 2 years ago in tenth grade a boy kept exposing my yugioh activity so i had planned to quit temporarily but never got back on it.

Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon were fun awhile ago but I had I quit. It got expensive as hell and I had started saving up for all the new games and consoles cing out. I recently got into magic the gathering like a week ago.

I find the Yu-Gi-Oh PSP games to be a pretty good and fun time sync, but other then that/if that doesn't count, nothing.

Pokémon (original 150 only) and Magic: the Gathering. I realize the second one isn't japanese, but Jace Beleren totally pwns! ...even if his card was banned from tournament play...

I currently don't play anything since they killed VS System, but I was once really big into Yugi and have played Pokemon and Naruto. It probly doesn't count but i do kinda play Sword Girls. Like i said it probly doesn't count tho. I tried to play Full Metal Alchemist, but it was short lived. But with all my TCG experience, i must say VS System was by far the best game I ever played.

I played Weiß Schwarz a little but it's not common so... yeah....What the hell is White Black?
...and why do the Japanese insist on putting seemingly random German words into their animes/mangas/popular culure~?
It's like how Margarite in Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai always says "Jagd," as if it actually means anything specific. She just randomly says "Hunt," and that doesn't make sense to me...
Anyway...
I have a bunch of old Pokémon cards and a few Yu-gi-oh decks somewhere.
Nobody actually knew how to play them; we just threw down the most powerful cards randomly, then ran off and played guns or something.

I collected Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards but i only played Yu-gi-Oh as kid cause it was easy to understand, all my friends had Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and the Pokemon card game was to damn confusing to play

I keep my YuGiOh deck by my bed at night just in case someone breaks in wanting to take my stuff. That way I can challenge him a duel for it. He wins, he keeps what he wants; I win, SHADOW REALM.

When i was little i had a lot of Pokemon and yugioh, but i gave it all to a friend, now just magic the gathering (not sure if japanese but still cards)

there's lesser WS players than i expected! I guess mainly because it hasn't been imported to the west, unlike bigger and older ones like MTG and YGO

I play Yugioh every Friday and Sunday at my locals, topping a good percent of the time. Exodia ftw!!!

Is Lycee an aquaplus card game? It looks like it is. I used to play Pokemon and Yugioh back then but keeping up with cards get pricey. Thats why I rather play the games on whatever console they release on or online.Lycee is not an Aquaplus card game. The set I bought happens to be the Leaf 4.0 expansion. There are other expansions containing characters belonging to Navel, TypeMoon and AliceSoft. :)
Some users have asked why I did not include Magic: The Gathering as an option. True enough, Magic: The Gathering remains one of the most popular trading card games today and I am sure most Fakku members have played it previously.
However, I was wondering about the popularity of Japanese-based trading card games in other parts of the world.
