Last minute Christmas help!
0
For all of us that celebrate Christmas, we know how chaotic and stressful last minute shopping can be. Christmas is only a few days away and I for one have not bought or even decided what I'll get for my friends and family. Some of you might be in the same situation for legitament reasons or due to laziness, but fear not because thats when this thread comes in.
If you need help with gift ideas:
Simply post who you need a gift for, what their interests/hobbies are, how much money you are willing to spend (or can spend), and anything else that may help.
If you are giving gift ideas:
Simply post your idea to the person in need, giving them all info required like price range, where they could get it, and a picture.
I'll start us off with a request of my own:
I still need a gift for my grandfather and am terrible with deciding on something appropriate.
I have 90 bucks
My grandfather likes fishing, golf, drinking, and walking around the neighborhood.

The last time I got a present for someone it was for my 6 year old cousin, I bought him a RISK Star Wars edition board game so that he could play it with his sister. The kids loved it and seeing them enjoy it so much made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
It's available on Amazon.

Depending on where you buy it and edition differences (Amazon.com or co.uk and OT or PT) the price will be something between 31 dollars and 59 dollars.

Usually for children I would buy them stationary, I would buy really cute stationary and the parents wouldnt have to worry too much about Back To School shopping later on.
Everyone above the age of 18 gets alcohol which they would drink straight away or save it for the New Years party.
For teenagers, I would give them money. The amount would depend on how many teens there are in the family currently. Roughly $50 is enough. I remember at that age all I wanted was money because I would be able to save enough of it to buy something I would actually want instead of getting like candles and bullshit.

If he also smokes give him a pipe and a wizards hat and start calling him gandalf...
If he doesn't but really enjoys hiking give him something like this http://www.swordnarmory.com/Poly-Resin-Dragon-Steel-Walking-Stick-Cane-p/kx-1105.htm
It'll allow him to walk more and look like a bad-ass while doing so.
If he really enjoys drinking try figuring out what his favorite brand is, and get him a gift set of that brand, or better go to your local alcohol store and buy a gift set with various types of alcohol so he can try it out, the more German the better.
For the others that already bought a gift or are celebrating x mas next year, start buying your presents at the last week of January, prices drop a lot around those weeks cause stores are switching from their x mas stock to their regular/spring stock, great time to get cheap deals and you won't have to worry about the presents until it comes around again, and as added bonus, if you forget the persons b-day you have a emergency gift to give out~
