From a gameplay perspective, that color combo is really fun in a ramp deck. Worked so hard that I've actually managed to pull out every single land out onto the field from the deck during a game once. You did that? With a G/U deck? ... awesome. lol.

It is pretty much nothing but ramp and big creatures... xP
And yeah, though, Primeval Titan did speed it up quite some until it was removed.

Except Red-Blue is my worst color combo, just cus the playstyles associated with them feel so opposite to each other for me.
:O time for the rant of red-blue :D
xD thats the reason you play it anyway. For instance blue is probably the best color for control as well as you get great draw cards but not much else and red is just insane aggro with alot of fire breathing, burn spells, and haste cards the mix means youll have a card advantage over any aggro deck, youll have counter cards for when the enemy tries to play some bamf creatures or day of judgement, as well youll have battle field control with burn spells. Early games not a problem with spells since counters are pretty cheap (like 2 for most maybe 3) as well as there is alot of low mana drop red creatures you can do. The bad parts about red blue is your never going to heal your self (might even hurt your self xD) and If you dont get the counter off youll have problems dealing with big creatures since it will take alot of burn to kill them
Lol, I guess I'm just too consevative of a player. I like leaving mana open at end of turns as a control to my liking. Or I play hyper aggresively and commit a lot to the board. Don't have a deck that can effectively do both.
EDIT: Lol I see your personality test dual color combo was Izzet. I got black/red (That was Rakdos, right?)
ya the test was fun i guess it wasnt very good because it was pretty obvious but ya thats rakdos :D. Of course right now ive basically killed my blue and blue red deckss and only have a mono red deck which im going to try and put tibalt the useless in ;n;.
Yeah, Tibalt was a little weak. But I'm thinkin he oughta work in a deck with plenty of flashback, so I was thinkin up one a while ago, never finished it.
And, ROFL, I just noticed, the MikuXLuka pic as your avi also resembles Blue-Red.
xD dam your right guess i just like blue and red (even though lukas pink but close enough)
also heres my mono red deck idea that involves tibalt

Add a Ring or Valkas or two, this way, you can get your Slumbering Dragons without having to wait for the opponent to attack you. Due to the fact the ring adds +1/+1 counters on a Red Creature and Slumbering Dragon needs +5 or more, it will come out a lot faster than waiting for your opponent to attack.
IMO, You'll force your opponent to do something to stop that Dragon from coming out as an 8/8 that can grow more with the ring.
That's my opinion though. Other than that, that seems like a real fast deck. Something that I feel like I couldn't really play since it's mono Red.
I'm still more of a Red/White player, in which I can still get creatures on the field fast as well as gain life, or do some preventive measures and stop some stuff towards me.
Building a Mono White deck right now around Angels and Spirits. Most of them are Standard cards, with the exception of one or two cards.
I'll post it up later and ask opinions on it.

Spoiler:
Unsure about Tibalt's role cept maybe as a means to draw more. Think there oughta be more burn spells to speede things along even more, and I feel like slumbering dragon is unneccessary, since there isnt enough to me punishing your opponent for attacking besides risking awakening the dragon itself. Think Goblin CHieftain oughta go in there because there are plenty of Goblins in the deck as well.

Here's my mono white deck. Any fixes? Let me know :Spoiler:
I think it oughta some be more Exalted since you have some of that theme goin'. Sublime Archangel give Exalted to all your creatures including the ones who already have it. Thus, even more exalted triggers on the stack on single attacks. Seems solid enough to me otherwise. Though I'm not sure about Serra Avatar. I've felt that the card should be used in a dedicated lifegain deck, since its an expensive creature.
Also Angel of Flight Alabaster I'm not sure how well that'd work out since you don't have a lot of spirits.

Yeah, thought about that too, and might just remove her and my Chapel Geists to and add more Knights of Glory and put in the Guardians of Akrasa from the deck.

Think Aven Squire can make your list? It's a nice cheap exalted creature in standard, still white.
Also wasn't sure about the Evolving Wilds simply cus its monocolor. I understand wanting to thin out the deck of lands, but for that purpose, I'd imagine the Zendikar fetchlands might do you more good since they bring it in untapped. Except, Zendikar's not in standard, if that's what you were going for. But I see a Kami of False Hope, which isn't in standard anymore either.

If I could make the deck Standard, then I would remove the Non-Standard cards, which as of the deck right now, it is, besides the sideboard.
Might want to make a casual deck out of Kamigawa and Ravnica cards though. Maybe...
And on the topic of Kamigawa, they should do a re-run of this set IMO. Really like a lot of the cards that are in there.

I agree that they should return to Kamigawa, especially for the Sensei's Divining Top.And ninjas. Ninjas are the shit. So much fun to be had with 'em.
The samurai were fun to play with, as well, but too many were legends, I felt a need to run mirror gallery to effectively use 'em.

All I mostly remember from Kamigawa were the Ouchi, the Kitsunes, Kamis, and the Sensei's Divining Top.

What about the Jitte? Anyways, wasn't around for Kamigawa, though I love some of the stuff in it, like the top, and the ninjas and samurai i mentioned. Also some legends that, to me, make for great commanders.

I don't remember the Jitte...
Kamigawa was really good, and they do have good cards for EDH. The only problem, is the one Black legendary Kami... I think it's the Evening Star one.
. . . (searching) . . .
Kokusho, the Evening Star.

Yup, he got banned. I remember another one, Erayo, I'm pretty sure it was, was banned as a commander... It's okay in the 99.
I love Homura and Rune-Tail. They seem pretty ridiculous for EDH as generals.

yeah kamigawa looks like it was a crazy set (lol at uncommon legends). i always wondered what standard was like in that block...

Bet it was more diverse than it is now... (Delvers EVERYWHERE, pretty happy when I saw the winner of the most recent GP was an affinity deck)
What's fun in standard for me is beating dudes with budget decks when they spent tons of money on the current best thing. Actually did decent with a fricken' mill deck.
Anyways, back to Kamigawa, I wonder how they would go back to that... Think the Kami War is already over, so some new conflict has to start... I wasn't following the story of what happened there, though my friend told me bits and chunks when I asked about flavor perspectives of some cards.
Finally, yay for Sensei's Divining Top. One of those uncommon artifacts wizards broke.

Mine isn't foil though .___. Think I got him for about 6-7 bucks.
Anywho...
A standard tempered steel infect deck I thought up. Think it looks good, but comments and criticism are welcome. Also, haven't thought up a sideboard; any suggestions, bring 'em on.
Spoiler:
Thought about Trading post, Phyrexia's Core, and Contested War Zone, too... Couldn't fit it, so I was thinking of them off to the side.
The inspiration was off my friend's variant of the deck, but his isn't completely standard. It's nice and aggresive, but also controlling enough. Think it can survive other decks today, but thoughts?
