Either. Instigator will put two of your goblins out, but Lackey is a one drop. Both speed up your deck like a gust of wind. Lackey is banned, though (last I checked), but as long as you're just playing casually, no one should care.
In any case, I'd say Instigator, just cus it may be easier to find... Both are rare cards.
Speaking of banned cards... I hear they banned Prime Time, the Primeval Titan, from EDH. My friend was prettty upset about that. I am, too... wanted one for for a future EDH deck. We follow the EDH ban lists to keep things fun, since we have some major Johnnies in our group who would break any card on the list.
Hear tell Kokusho got knocked off the ban list too. o_o

i gotta figure out a way to make custom sleves, so far the only way is to get a normal plastic, piece of paper with the design, put it on the back, then clear plastic (same with the tokens but opposite)
at least i can get a proper mat ... everything pony related...

everything will fit the theme EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

You're the fourth person upset about it. Friend, that friend's uncle, the high school teacher I play with, and now you. Must've been a hard hit for all.
EDIT: Watching the Pro Tour Avacyn Restored matches since I was really curious on how exactly the Miracle deck of Alexander Hayne plays...
Oh my god, does it make some epic plays. Lots of respect for Hayne... it's some crazy stuff.

Just a question, for my goblin deck, which do you think is betterWarren Instigator or Goblin Lackey?
Let me put it like this, in competitive legacy, there are a list of decks that fold to mountain>lackey if they can't respond to it.
Lackey is generally speaking better, one cmc makes a massive difference and it specifies Goblin CARD not CREATURE, this isn't always relevant but yeah tribal spells like Tarfire or Warren Wierding can be put into play with lackey.
Hilarious piece of information: Goblin Lackey, Ringleader, Warchief, Matron and Gempalm incinerator, are all uncommon.
Kokusho was a long time coming from what I understand, although prime-time, while a lot of people wanted it banned, it seems just as many wanted it to stay. Apparently no one has heard of this card called Armageddon....
In other news, Valakut was unbanned in Modern and burning wish was unrestricted in vintage.

GOod ol' Valakut. My friend and I want to build Valakut decks, so we're wanting to get em as soon as possible.
Went to a shop tourney today, the grand prize was a box of cards or half a box + FTV: Realms. Went 2-2, and unfortunately didnt make top 4, but it was fun. It may have been just my rookieness, it was the first time I've ever played a non-FNM game with a sideboard, so I just netdecked a sideboard, though made a small change to it. Not even sure I sided properly during my games, but things appeared to work out for me... At least, I got results I kinda expected.
It was a standard "5-color control", aka Mono-G Aggro Infect. (Called it 5-color because of the different phyrexian mana spells.
The list:
4 Glistener Elf
4 Ichorclaw Myr
1 Viridian Corrupter
1 Blight Mamba

10 creatures
2 Green Sun's Zenith
4 Titanic Growth
4 Rancor
4 Wild Defiance
3 Mental Misstep
4 Gut Shot
4 Apostle's Blessing
4 Mutagenic Growth

1 Blight Mamba

If it looks similar to the Croatian team's standard decklist for the World Magic Cup, it's because it pretty much is. I had a deck similar to this for casual play, so I felt comfortable with it since it isn't so much different.

Thanks for the Goblin Lackey advice everyone.
However, another question,
I'm having a little bit of trouble with Geist of Saint Traft equipped with "sword of body and mind" and "sword of war and peace".
I have Iona, Shield of Emeria. If I declare white as the color that can't be cast, can my opponent still summon Geist of Saint Traft? I'm a bit confused because he is blue and white.

Yes, even though he is blue, he is also white, so you cast something like Iona, the opponent can not cast any of that specific color, mix colors included.

Red deck wins fast:
suggestions? (besides bonfire since 1 with all the 1 mana drops you dont have the excess mana at all for a pay x card and 2 have you seen how fucking expensive that thing is right now holy shit)

Tibalt is terrible, bar none, unplayable, cut it for anything, cut it for bonfire.
Also, miracling bonfire usually wins you the game, no joke, in a red deck, wiping your opponents board and shooting them in the dome at the same time all for RX. although it is expensive.

Yeahh, unless you have a way to access your graveyard, Tibalt doesn't do many good things for you...
And with how cheap your deck is, mana-wise, you might be able to get away with even less lands... maybe. I had a Delver deck that was about as cheap mana wise and even at 20 lands, I'd get mana flooded.
Maybe Dangerous Wager as another card draw method? I'd think you'd be dumping your hand onto the board anyways, so that "Discard your hand" part may not even matter.

Instead of Pillar of Flame, which is a sorcery, I'd suggest getting Magma Spray from the Izzet vs Golgari set.
It has the same exact effect of Pillar of Flame, but it's an instant instead. I do find instants more flexible, especially in any Red deck.

I think he's building a "future standard" deck, unless Magma Spray is being reprinted, too. And Pillar of Flame can be sent to the dome, but I would prefer Magma Spray. Instant speed makes a big difference.

^he's a 2 drop that does about 5 damage to the enemy with minus 4 hes esentially a burn spell same with vexing devil (also since literally every card in the deck has essentially the same purpose ditching 1 card for another isnt really all that bad especially since you have like no hand on turn 4 anyway and you just mill one basically xD)
and no are you kidding me youre trying to win like on turn 4 or 5 bonfiring for 2 damage isnt as useful as 5 damage to their face
also just for what the others are saying it dosent matter really if pillar is instant or sorcery i just need a 1 mana spell to poke them for 1/10 of their health in case i only have 1 mana left (which will happen on turn 3 usually). Its not the best for this purpose obviously but i cant find anything better for one mana
also dude above me no duel decks dont count as standard
