This one is a hard one...
But, I say no. Even though Sphinx of The Steel Wind has protection from Green, Champion of Lambholt effect comes first on the Stack due to declaring attackers first before declaring blockers. Only when Pro Green activates on Sphinx is only when declaring blockers will take effect.
Here's Champion of Lambholt's rulings :
-Creatures with power less than Champion of Lambholt can't block any creature you control, not just Champion of Lambholt.
-Champion of Lambholt's ability works even if it isn't attacking.
-The comparison of power is only done when blockers are declared. Increasing the power of a blocking creature (or decreasing the power of Champion of Lambholt) after this point won't cause any creature to stop blocking or become unblocked.

Anyone have a cocktrice account here yet? I really want to play you guys if you do. Let me know and add me :SakaPro765
Still building decks on that... Since there's every card available, there are decks I've wanted to build but couldn't afford... Like right now, I'm building a Legacy-legal Miracles deck.
My user on cockatrice:

Hope you many of you guys go on that, because, although I do like playing Magic, I'm hesitant playing with strangers on the internet. I feel I'm either gonna run into major Spikes or complete rookies. Happens a lot on byond, where I play Cardfight Vanguard online.
Also, I'm sure you guys would be patient with me as I learn the system, figure out the shortcuts like CTRL+D to draw and whatnot.
EDIT: According to those rulings, it seems the Champion's ability is a static effect. So yeah, Sphinx won't be able to block it if conditions are met. Protection only deals with targetting or damage from the protected source.

cockatrice? wazzat? do you have to pay?
probably not something i can use on a vita (my only access to the internet at the moment), huh?
i would like to play some magic online though, as i only get to play like once or twice (three if lucky) times a month irl. in fact i might invest in a computer just for that, lol.

SO LUCKY. Never saw a Thragtusk across the table from me today. My RDW deck actually top 8'd this game day, but fizzled immediately against the deck I would have run if I had thought of it before RDW: Selesnya Aggro.
So much control and midrange at that tourney though... The three aggro decks (my RDW, a Rakdos-Zombie aggro, and the Selesnya Aggro) all did pretty well since we're all early game, and they were all late game.
Now for the deck I piloted...
Sideboard (and Reasoning):
@n0z3bl33d: It's a free way to play MTG online. There' a link near the top of the 36th page here.

Smelt seems weak, do you really care about the keyrunes, they are slow and you can probably race them. Thunderbolt doesn't seem like the angle you want to be attacking resto from, it's a creature played for 'value', once she lands, it eating a thunderbolt probably doesn't annoy them too much.
Dunno if I'd be playing stromkirk, how good was he if you played him after turn 1?

Well I just threw Smelt just in case. Expected some kind of equipment to hate on, but the only thing that was really there to hate on was the keyrunes, and never felt the need to side in my Smelts for that reason.
Well, Resto having 4 toughness was the problem, really. Thunderbolt is an instant speed way of taking care of it. I was also thinking I could maybe use it defensively against Geist of Saint Traft to kill the token that comes with it.
I didn't like him either, that's why I ran Nivmagus Elemental instead at first, and the Noble was quite a lightning rod today. Took so much burn. I usually got one hit in before it died, though I did have one as big as a 3/3 once. His "can't be blocked by Humans" wasn't as relevant as I had hoped, too... Only Avacyn's pilgrim was one that'd be affected by, and that person never used his mana guys to chump with anyways (that was the Selesnya Aggro guy).
EDIT: Hmm... was suggested Guttersnipe. Definitely a nice idea, but I'm not sure I run enough burn. Also suggested Annihilating Fire... a card I hate more than Searing Spear... I'm already paying {1} more for a Lightning Bolt in Searing Spear, I really don't want to pay {R} more for Incinerate.
EDIT2: Okay so changed it up a little more yet again, adding Guttersnipe and Annihilating Fire. I cut the 3 Cryptborn Horrors for 3 Guttersnipe, cut my 2 Bonfires and a Hellrider for 3 Annihilating Fire, then put those Bonfires in the sideboard, replacing Thundermaw Hellkite and 1 Mizzium Mortars.

I'm trying to build an infect deck with cheap creatures that I can just pump up. It's a bit difficult but I really want to try using this. So far it goes like this
Mono-green Infect
4x Glistener Elf
4x Viridian Corrupter
4x Blight Mamba
4x Necropede
4x Ichorclaw Myr
4x Wild Defiance
4x Titanic Growth
4x Giant Growth
4x Mutagenic Growth
4x Nature's Claim or Rancor (depending on me opponent)
20x Forest
I really welcome advices and suggestions

Rancor is better already, between Nature's Claim and Rancor. Rancor I think is an automatic 4-of. It's an excellent card, and I cannot think of a reason to even take it out. Nature's Claim is totally a sideboard card. Much, much, much, more situational
And you only need at least 12 creatures with Infect in the Hyper-Agressive version. Much more makes it so you get more dead draws. Replace at least 4 of your creatures with pump spells and it should be good enough, but I would probably cut 6. My mono-green had 14 creatures, and it was consistent. In fact, technically, it only had 10, but I also ran Inkmoth Nexus, the colorless land that can turn into a 1/1 infect creature with flying, and anyone who used that in the infect deck would describe it as the best creature in the deck. It was a 4-of in most lists I saw.
I'd say probably cut the Viridian Corrupters and 2 either Necropede or Blight Mamba.
Also, Apostle's Blessing was made for this deck. all your creatures are fragile little 1/1s, so being able to protect it, or even give a relevant protection to make it unblockable, is vital. Plus, since you're running Wild Defiance, it sets that off, too.
If you wanna see mine to compare, I can show you, but I've recently spalsh black and blue to it. It's still mostly Green, since the blue and black are only for certain other infect creatures I like better.

Sure I'd love to see your deck. So I can see more cards.
Wait, about Inkmoth Nexus, it turns into a flying insect for one turn. Doesn't it get summoning sickness and turn back into being a land afterwards?
Also if I add Inkmoth, should I reduce the amount of forest that I have?

Sure, it gets summoning sickness, but only for the turn you put it down. Any other time, all good.
And the fact that it turns back into a land is a REALLY GOOD THING actually. It's because that now that it's just a land, your opponents can't remove it as easily, with something like a Doom Blade or Terminate. That's why it's the best creature in infect decks: It flies, and it dodges removal.
And yes, remove some forests. It's still land, so If you draw too much, you're still considered mana flooded. I'd say just 4 for 4, but it wouldn't be unreasonable to cut less, maybe 3 forests.
And my variant. It's based on Ari Lax's BUG (Black-Blue-Green) deck from Pro Tour Return to Ravnica, and he had some good ideas that I took to heart:
4 Glistener Elf
4 Blighted Agent
4 Plague Stinger
4 Noble Hierarch (A damn expensive card I'm proxying for)
___________________
16 Creatures
4 Apostle's Blessing
4 Mutagenic Growth
4 Giant Growth
4 Might of Old Krosa
4 Invigorate (Which isn't in Modern, in this place, Ari used Rancor)
4 Vines of Vastwood
___________________
24 Other Spells
(Now, this is a dream mana base, I don't have these, I'm proxying for em, though I do actually have 4 Inkmoths)
4 Inkmoth Nexus
3 Overgrown Tomb
3 Breeding Pool
3 Misty Rainforest
3 Verdant Catacombs
2 Pendelhaven
2 Forest
___________________
20 Land
EDIT: So, turns out I have 16 Infect creatures: Inkmoth, Glistener, Blight, and Plague. I remember now that my 14 creature infect deck also ran 2 copies of Green Sun's Zenith, which let you cheat out a creature, so I kinda considered that as having 2 extra copies of any creature I wanted in the deck. Green Sun's Zenith sounds like it'd be a great one for you, would help consistency, especially you being monogreen.

That's actually what I did for my exalted deck, all black/white dual lands. Mostly because I get extremely frustrated when I get a lot of white creatures and I only have swamps. Because of what I did, I can never ever play standard with my exalted.
I'll try what you said. Invigorate is a very awesome card. Too bad I didn't know about it before. I'll also try the Rancors instead of Nature's claim.

I also find that Wild Defiance works really well with green infect decks. Say you have Wild Defiance and an Inkmoth Nexus out. You can pay 1 for the Inkmoth to come out, buff it up with very cheap stuff like Giant Growth or Titanic Growth, that Inkmoth becomes an instant 7/7 or 8/8, and by that time you at least have your opponent with one or two infect counters.
Exalted also works really well for infect too, especially for black. With a few Duty-Bound Deads or Knights of Infamy, infect with Inkmoth Nexus or Plague Stinger, infect will come quick. Game is over when you also play Phyrexian Crusader. First Strike and Pro Red/White makes it almost impossible to destroy.

Kicki: Yup, mana fixing is very important, especially when you run a lot of colors. A lot of fixing is unneccessary in two-color decks, so you could have a mana base of only basics on a budget, but when you start diving into three colors, then, mana fixing is a MUST.
Also, Exalted didn't make that huge a splash in Standard, though. I think it's because it seems too fragile a deck; it gets timewalked too easily.
Saka: Oh, for sure. With Wild Defiance on the table, your opponent cannot afford to tap out either on creatures or lands since the infect deck can basically combo kill you out with any instant or sorcery that is played.
And also a good point about Exalted, though the biggest reason for me is that ALL my infect creatures were 1/1, at least, that was the problem in my Standard variant, that was when Gut Shot was around.

To make things even more confusing, technically speaking, EVERYTHING has summoning sickness, it's only creatures that are affected.

I only play for fun. I'm not gonna play in a tournament ever.
Actually, what I noticed in my exalted deck is that majority of the creatures are very weak or fragile.
In my exalted, the lands that I usually run with are
4 Scrubland
4 Isolated Chapel
4 Godless Shrine
2 Marsh Flats
2 Fetid Heath
2 Cathedral of War
1 Swamp
1 Plains
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So I'm changing my infect deck to
4x Blight Mamba
4x Necropede
4x Ichorclaw Myr
4x Wild Defiance
4x Apostle's Blessing
4x Invigorate (Awesome free buff card)
4x Giant Growth
4x Mutagenic Growth
4x Rancor
16 Forest
4 Inkmoth Nexus
I don't know why but I feel I kinda have a lot of sorcery and instants
That amount of fixing is totally unneccessary @__@. It's only two colors, some fixing is perfectly fine, that much fixing is overdoing it in my eyes... I guess you'll never be color screwed, though.
That's not a problem, you WANT a lot of instants and sorceries in this deck, especially if you have Wild Defiance, because with that, you can win out of nowhere.
And you might be able to cut down your number of creatures even more since you have Inkmoths in the list now, but that's starting to push the risk, though I personally like having as few creatures as possible so I always have pump spells. Might be kinda greedy, but that's me. If you do, I'd suggest cutting Blight Mamba or Necropede.
Time Walk was an extremely powerful card from Magic's beginnings that gave you an extra turn for only TWO MANA. The term is used now when you make your opponent waste a large portion, if not all of their turn, such as with an exalted deck, you waste a combat step if your one creature that attacks is removed in any way.
0
Yup, now I always get the proper color of mana that I need. Well, except when I get 7 lands or 7 creature/spells.
Ahh... So that's what you mean by that. Usually, in my exalted deck, I just pray I get Silent Arbiter and Lightning Greaves. If not, I just wish to get a lot of 1 mana creatures so I can spam them.
Nah, I'll go with creatures. I love having a lot of creatures. So I'll just hope to get at least one creature and a few buffing cards with my infect deck.
Still unneccessary for there to be THAT much, it's overly cautious to me, especially since Godless Shrine is a shockland. It's nice to have if you aren't fortunate enough to have Scrublands, but since you do, don't feel it's that neccessary. Also not feeling Fetid Heath all that much.
Your call. Certainly nice to have threats, especially since none of yours but one has evasion (Inkmoth). In your variant, it is more of an aggro deck than mine which is combo-aggro (which it's apparently described as).
Ohhai fellow MTG players. Glad to see theresca few in tge fakku community.
Hey I have a a question. Do you guys know of any cards that can recover exiled cards in white, black, and/or green, prefferably (but by no means only) creatures? I already use Riftsweeper, but he's my only tool for that kinda thing right now.
